Hey Continental Real Estate, I know Water is covered in rent but it'd be the bare minimum of basic human decency to let your tenants know when you're going to shut off water for THE WHOLE COMPLEX, before you do it.
The only negative thing about this place is how thin the floors are. You will consistently hear your downstairs and upstairs neighbor's TV and hear them walking around. A solid place to live if you have considerate neighbors.
Everything else was fantastic. The leasing office workers are very kind and polite. Maintenance is handled extremely fast. Plenty of parking. You will get a quality experience for the price.
Very poor experience, maintenance guys are all good but office ladies are rude. I never wrote any negative comments in anywhere before but I cannot stand this community. Room is very old and always broken, pipe issues, wall issues, even the water leaking in Christmas vacation. There are always worms come up to my carpet even I clean it every single day. I won't recommend anyone to rent this place unless you truly have no other choices.
My husband and I have lived in Lion s Gate for two years. We had great experiences with the management staff and were very impressed with how promptly our maintenance requests were taken care of.
We always felt like the office staff was straightforward and honest, and even in our move out have had the same experience with carpet issues, cleaning questions, etc.
The apartments are large and my only negative experience, which is avoidable by living on the third floor, is that the wood floors make a lot of noise for the lower-level apartments. Just something to be aware of if you plan to rent here. It s not a problem unless your upstairs neighbors have large dogs or wear heavy shoes.
Laundry facilities were well-maintained and clean, and accept credit card so you don t have to worry about quarters.
Lastly, the grounds are well kept and there is a lot of area to walk around in. We would suggest these apartments to anyone looking for something in this neighborhood that s reasonable for rent and pet-friendly.
One of the lowest prices in town and it's higher quality than some more downtown expensive places. I think they try to accommodate as best they can and I honestly can't complain. We are paying for what we get and I think it's fair and there are no big problems
I lived here for a year and half and enjoyed my time living here. The leasing office are courteous and maintenance does a good job to fix any problems ASAP. The grounds are well kept. Quiet community. Honest company. I d recommend Lion s Gate to anyone in need of an apartment!
Great place for the price. Office staff and maintenance were always friendly and helpful. Bus stop is right outside with service from the R and RC lines. The buildings are fairly old so things break occasionally, but maintenance was always quick to get things taken care of. My only advice in hindsight is to invest in a portable AC unit for your room. The window units in my 2-bedroom floorplan didn't do a very good job and drove our electric bill through the roof.
I really enjoyed living at Lions Gate. I had a "Deluxe One-Bedroom" floorplan on the third floor. It was spacious and had big windows, which I loved. I never had the problem of hearing my neighbors through the wall. My floor was always quiet, and my neighbors were polite. The big yards and gazebos are nice. Another thing I really appreciated was the free & plentiful parking - they also have lots of guest parking. Helen, the manager, is nice and very helpful. The maintenance guys are amazing - I had to call them on a weekend, and one of the guys came right over to help me even on his day off. It was also nice to be a hop and a jump from a grocery store.
My husband and I lived there for two years. We only moved because our son is going through some health stuff and we wanted to be closer to family for support. We enjoyed our time there. The office staff was always nice to us. Maintenance was amazing! A truly great group of people! We miss it!
I just signed a lease for Lions Gate and Shannon was such a great help! I loved how they handled the entire process and they were so kind and friendly! Thank you for finding us the perfect apartment!
