Lots of fun with the family we got pumpkins and enjoyed the scenery
Wonderful place to enjoy. Been going there for over 15 years or so.
Beautiful, family friendly, entertaining!! All around Amazing!!
I love visiting Linvilla Orchids. This is a place I have visited as a child and still like to go there as an adult. Their food is fresh and the events are fun. It can get crowded but it is worth it.
Great old fashioned farm with seasonal activities for adults and kids. A Delaware County, PA landmark that I hope will never change.
Great place to bring the family for a fun day of activities!
I went once. Very nice place but too many bumble bees.
Lovely place. Highly recommended for a full day exploring nature
So happy they've reopened their attractions! I've been a visitor foe over 40 years, school trips family outings and now my 2 year old daughter loves the pony rides!
This place is a blast. The only thing that detract from this entire experience there parking situation which is on Stone and you often have to walk a distance. but the place is fantastic. It's a fantastic bakery a fantastic gift shop, and a fantastic location overall. I would not had to this location without intending to spend at least one to two hours here
Linvilla is a great place for families. Clean, fun atmosphere. The only thing that gets to me is how they nickel and dime you. Everything costs more and more money. Shadybrook is a flat price of $18 and everything is included. If you go just bring lots of dough :). Even their caramel apples are pricey.
It was extremely packed with people. Probably for the pick your own aoples.
I love the hayride and their fresh veggies. We went most recently for the apple cider donughts.
Great place for adults and children good fun for all ... Love it there
The best donuts and apple cider, and the chili French fries are so good
This is the friendliest orchard I have every visited. The employees are so knowledgeable about herbs plants and fruit. Dont take my word for it asked them any question about growing your own and thwy will tell you how to get it done. They also teach you how to cook with herbs. MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE HOOKED. I HAVE NOT VISITED THE POOL YET BUT PLAN ON TAKING GRANDS THERE SOON.
Thanka for excellent service. The guy who drove the truck said walk all the way to the back and start SMELLING. Your nose will tell you where to stop. He was right BEST PEACHES I EVER HAD .
Parking is an absolute disgrace. They shouldn t allow that many people in. Drove in and drove right back out. Took 30 minutes to even drive through.
Staff could be a bit friendlier. Other than that aces.
Fresh produce and some great deli and bakery items. They also have a large nursery with lot of native plants.
Our family has a tradition of going to this lovely place every year. It has appeal to all ages! The kids love the animals and taking train rides. My teens love how they always seem to know someone at Linvilla, and they enjoy posing for pictures with the elaborate decorations. My wife likes to go shopping for house decor here. I mostly come for the delicious pies and apple cider donuts :) From apple picking to wagon rides, your family will never be bored at Linvilla Orchards!
We've been faithful swim club members for the last 10 years, so this review is way overdue. Every year, my kids and I look forward to summer days spent at either pool, Knowlton or Hidden Hollow. It reminds me of a pool experience of my childhood where kids become fast "summer friends" and run between the tennis courts, playground, dives, slides, swim team and of course the snack bar. Are the spaces sparkling new? No, but they are clean enough and well cared for so people aren't being hurt.
We spend most of our time at Hidden Hollow and with the swim team, which I totally recommend. It is an unbelievable bargain at $55 per child, after joining the pool. The HH coaches: Will Murphy, Bob Piotti, Kelly Dale and others, are fantastic. They coach the kids in technique and give them a rigorous workout WHILE keeping it fun! My kids love it and the sense of family they get when at practice and while competing. PLUS, we have had an undefeated season this year, which doesn't hurt either :).
Do it~ join the pool and the Hidden Hollow swim team, you won't regret it!!
Can't get any fresher than picking your own. Loved having a healthy family outing with my daughter and getting the fruits that we loved out of it.
Had a great time on the social distanced hay ride to Bunny land. Great family fun.
I think great place~ there are so many different things such as fruit ,jam ,bakery and vege and pumpkins and halloween stuff ~and hayride and mini train so great and also you can drink coffee and funnel cake and hotdog etc ~
What's the fuss about here? There appears to be no upkeep of the animals housing and property areas. Shopping carts littered along the building covered in rust. Actual wood falling off areas & Paint literally peeling off the wood structures in multiple areas. Huge pothole coming into the facility. The market area is the exact same as any other in the area. Nothing to write home about it. Really save yourself some time and find another place further away. Smaller is probably better one this one.
Great farmer's market ! Great for walking and kids!
Kids love it there. Bring some carrots and lettuce and feed the animals? Let the kids play at the playground, and enjoy all natural organic foid at there store.
Best farm around to take the kids. We have made it a tradition to go every year. Have been taking them for years for the pumpkins and this year we will start with cutting our Christmas Tree and to see Santa . I don't know who is more exited if me or the kids.
Awesome place to take your family! Food trucks sometimes have a festival here too
This is an awesome place. Been going there over 60 years.
Awesome experience..very fun to pick your own strawberries.other berries...fresh veggies..apples..but on the expensive side..cost is high per pint..there a shop as well again the cost is high.. strawberry festival was good though.. with some fun events and most important one was the fresh strawberry cake..yummy cake..we had our cake lunch :)
Awesome time, kids love it. We go every year at Halloween, Easter, and Christmas.
Great place for pumpkins and Halloween stuff. Huge playground for kids. Petting zoo where you can feed some of the animals. Pick your own apples from the Orchard. New family tradition started...we'll be back!
Great place for kids to play and feed and pet animals. Our 20 month-old cried as we took him away from the chickens. He would have watched them for an hour or more!
Amazing place for the fall time but over the years it has become SO crowded! The caramel apples never disappoint
Only sell conventional grade plants and fertilisers.
Comfortable social distancing. Excellent products (produce, plants, decor). Considerate employees.
Great place! They have something for everyone and contribute so much to Delco
Great place to take children to see and feed animals and play at the playground. They also have a great food market too.
We loved coming here to pick berries. We picked blackberries and raspberries, but there were even more options. The berries were $6/pint. Good way to spend the afternoon
Wonderful place to go with the family, especially with children. Everything is beautiful and colorful. I would have loved to go more times this year, I would definitely be there every weekend
I got crazy excited to attend their annual Peach Fest hopefully 2 acquire a bangin peach cobbler
Ummmmm first off, this was not a Peach Fest!!!
There were ZERO venders and their farmers market store sold pretty much everything besides mostly peach related foods , even tho there are sum tasty treats in there like fudge & apple cider donuts
Next on 2 da grill or their make-believe food court ...This place was FILTHY man!!! Counter tops and cookin areas were loaded with filth!!! And da heavy set cashier lady was extremely rude and acted like it was my fault she worked there !!! Da workers wear no gloves and da place is fly infested...Not 2 mention da pizza they sell, they get from a pizzeria and sell if off as theirs (they bother not 2 even hide da box it came in)... It needs 2 b SHUT DOWN period!!!
My babies did enjoy da kids playground area which u donate $1 to enter, & da clown guy juggling
I won't b back here no time soon, Deuces
Love this fun family farm and produce center. Always a great experience from school trips with my children to spontaneous day trips with the family.
I have been here twice and had fun on both occasions. Make sure you take look at their website before coming, so that you get an idea about what is available for picking. Apples, peaches, tomatoes, chillies and so on are plentiful during season time. There is a good market selling produce both from their own farm as well as others. I loved the blueberries that I got from here. You need to buy a small box to hold your pickings the first time you come. The money can be redeemed when you buy the fruits or vegetables you picked. There are carts and hayrides that take you from one place to the other within the orchard. This is a fun place to be in when you have some time. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great place to take your family. We go all the time and it's always a pleasant experience. I grew up on a farm so, all the animals there are awesome.
Great experience cutting down our own tree. Very friendly and helpful staff.
They had our grandsons birthday party there ,great time
What started as a great family day at this place finished off with confrontation with an obnoxious, rude, condescending employee. The employees have no idea how to talk to or treat people with common decency and courtesy. We were on the apple picking trail and this guy says we were not at the right spot to be picked up in an arrogant way. He then accused us of picking in a section that was out of bounds which was not true, if there is flag posted then you can pick from there, at least that what the driver who propped us there advised us. The families that was in the picking group were also flabbergasted at this guy s attitude and the manner he was to talking down to us. On our return to the final drop off area, we were again confronted with this individual. He admonished us about taking pictures. This is shocking behavior for service enterprise that exist on patronage from the public. We complained to the manager, and he assured us he would talk to the individual. I really hope they do, as this individual was so close to assaulting me. Now if that happened, this would turn out to be a legal issue, that was not necessary.
The kids love feeding the animals. Fresh vegetables and fruits. Hay Rides, train rides.
I visited Lindvilla Orchards on a Saturday. It was really nice and fun. My family and I had a really great time. It s worth visiting at least once. The only downside was the quality of the food/drinks they sell. The hot chocolate my sister in law ordered was really watered down & did not taste anything like hot chocolate. My mom wanted to order something to eat but one look inside the kitchen & she turned back around with her appetite ruined. I hope they work on their food quality.
Great farm with it's own bakery/food market, a plant shop with holiday decor sold as well, and a pretty cool beer garden. They also have some animals you can check out, some tasty food booths, and seasonal events like hayrides and apple or pumpkin picking.
Food Trucks were awesome...beer and wine, real cold!
Such a fun place to go with the family or even for a date. Lots of activities to participate in plus food and even a beer garden. I go every year for pumpkins, apple cider donuts and other fall treats.
One of my favorites. After feeding the goats, be sure to stop by the market. Must gets: pepperoni pizza Pully bread, beef jerky, donuts, bacon egg and cheese . Spices and other singular condiments (ex: cinnamon almond butter).
THERE IS NO SOCIAL DISTANCE, WHEN WE GOT THERE EVERYONE WAS ALL TOGETHER AND SOME WITH NO MASK .THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WAS VERY BAD. IF YOU ARE THINKING TO GO DON T PROTECT YOUR FAMILY AND FRIEND S AND THE LINES FOR THE HAYRIDES WAS NOT EVEN FORCING SOCIAL DISTANCE EVERYONE WAS TOGETHER NOT EVEN 1FT WE WILL NOT BE GOING HERE AGAIN UNTIL THE START CARING FOR THE SAFETY OF THERE COSTUMERS. THEY CAN AT LEAST COUNT THE PEOPLE IN THERE ORCHARD THIS WHY I AM RATING IT ONE STAR.
Linvilla Orchards is such a nice place to visit and spend the day. There is an indoor market which houses fresh fruit and produce and many specialty food items, and of course there is a wide variety of fresh baked pies and cakes. There is a large selection of indoor and outdoor plants to include annuals and perennials. There is a large selection of seasonal decor. There is seasonal fruit picking. There is a wonderful hay ride and they even have a beer garden and street corn and other festival type foods. It's great for people of all ages.
They have a lot to offer for seasonal decorations. It's already crowded on the week days so get there soon, it will only be more crowded soon. It's great for young and old alike.
You find everything here: flowers, plants, produce. There's a playground area, you can feed animals and even ride a little train. We had a great time.
Nice and serene. Great place to take the children and grandchildren.
A Great place to visit with children or just Adults
Tourist attraction farm and orchard. Lots of things for kids to do.
Linvilla Orchards was way too crowded, too many people allowed in during a pandemic- 1000's of people where you cannot social distance. Ridiculous amounts of people, and only 7500 can ve in Eagles stadium. In many states your not even allowed to vote in person for President. But this place pure Covid breeding ground, we were shocked.
We had a fun time slinging apples and finding our way out of the corn maze! They also have many specialty jams and jellys.
Nice place. However, when getting an Xmas tree it takes more than 20-25 minutes to get picked up . Tree to cut down is $60.
