I am a PhD student that has used their service to request interpreters for classes, events, workshops, and academic retreats. They have been immensely helpful and wonderful in providing some of the best interpreters I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The organization is also very professional and punctual despite times when my events may require last minute interpreting services. You will not be disappointed with their services.

We use Masterword services to communicate with some of our clients. They are always ready and able to handle our requests even if it is last minute or on the weekends. Whenever we have to use any type of language services, they offer solutions. We mostly use the face to face interpreters, but we have also used them over the phone to interpret. Can't wait until we can use the video interpretation at our office. Keep up the good work!

This review is for MasterWord s translation services. I work at a large engineering company and we had just finished a design package consisting of about 1,800 documents that had to be translated into Russian.

As one negative reviewer mentions, there are tons of translation companies out there; some that might be cheaper than MasterWord. However, they do not all operate at a high level of quality. I had reviewed bids from 4 other companies and though some were a bit cheaper, they obviously did not have a clear understanding of the scope of work - there were errors in their proposals, gross assumptions, disclaimers, and high-flying promises. It was easy to award the contract to MasterWord and I m glad I did.

We had both onsite translators in our office to translate drawings and to allow for easy consultation with our engineers in case there were questions and an offsite translation team working on documents. Both teams asked a lot of questions! And that is a good thing. The key to proper and correct translation is understanding the context in which a word or phrase is used. In a language like Russian, as is the case in many languages, there are multiple ways to use the same word that all depend on, you guessed it, context!

To say that the teams at MasterWord were thorough is an understatement. They did a fantastic job in understanding complex engineering language and translated it with the highest accuracy. They responded quickly to my questions. They delivered a quality product on time and on budget. They were professional yet easy to work with. And ultimately, my Russian client was quite impressed with their work saying that it was as if they had written the documents themselves in their native language.

Indeed, they are many translation companies out there but none have a mastery of the written word at least not in the 2 languages on which I worked with them like MasterWord does. Highly recommended!

was incredibly impressed with the quality of interpreters sent and their ability to adapt to on site changes/requests per the client. It was greatly appreciated. I also saw the interpreters visiting with guests on more than one occasion. They had nice personalities and were very professional. No issues to report. Job very well done. Thank you-

I'm an interpreter for this company and I can tell you I've had nothing but a poor experience with this company. The way they pay is questionable. My issue was as a new interpreter with this company I couldn't get a straight answer about payroll. I called the day before Thanksgiving and spoke to a supervisor in accounting. All she did was complain about how she had to stop what she was doing to whomever was talking to. She tried giving me the guilt trip to not have to answer my questions but they're paid often to do their job thanks to us doing our job. Today was supposed to be when I received compensation for services but nothing. When I called and spoke to payroll again, whomever answered the phone, rusty hung up. At that point no one from HR management or anywhere else was calling me back no matter how many messages. If you want to be used and abused, great company to work for that'll do that. If you don't care about your money you work for, by all means apply.

I took the 40 hour Intensive Medical Interpreter course and am so very thankful for all of the support and education they provided. The course is a very professional, yet comfortable environment. It is obvious they want to give you what you need to succeed. They were all very courteous and encouraging, especially during the test taking process, and they have helped me achieve a life long goal! Thank you MasterWord!
