Not helpful at all. We had travelled from Cornwall to get there and my wife wasn't allowed in because she didn't have proof of her home address. She doesn't drive so no driving licence and doesn't hold a passport.

Very helpful, frliendly staff. Found a lot of relevant information about some ancestors. They also offer some interesting materials: stencils for your family tree, local maps from the 19c, etc.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Being able to pre order documents ready for your arrival is great. The secure car park is handy. Always a good experience.
