I have witnessed at least 3 claims, the last one involved my Moms Partner, several months ago.

I would give them negative stars if they allowed it. Worst company to have a life insurance with. My mother paid $160 a month for less than $20,000. That is ridiculous. She died 7 weeks ago and we still haven't gotten her money. All they say is it's in the mail. Like we haven't heard that story before. I would not recommend them to Satan himself.
My Aunt had her insurance policy through Lincoln Heritage. When she passed all I had to do was turn over the policy to the Funeral Home, verify via phone that as the beneficiary I gave them permission to proceed and everything else was taken care of. Even the Funeral Director commented on how easy Lincoln Heritage was to work with. I am looking into getting my parents and myself policies with them.

My wife recently passed away. She had a policy with Lincoln Heritage that she purchased several years ago with me, her husband named as beneficiary.
When I called inquiring as to how the policy claim should be handled, the staff first passed along their sympathies & condolences. They then continued in a very professional manner as to how I proceeded and what necessary items needed for Lincoln Heritage to process this claim expediently. Once I provided the necessary documents, the claim was processed and payment was issued very timely.
I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism, caring and expedience displayed by each and every employee that I dealt with. If I was to rate Lincoln Heritage on a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the highest, they would get an 11 from me!

While the plan that my late mother set up with Lincoln Heritage did help take care of part of her final expenses, I can't really say anything good about the service we received. When Mom set up her plan, it was explained to us that a representative would be with us at the end when we met with the funeral home to make sure we received the correct pricing that they had arranged with the funeral home. When I called Lincoln Heritage after Mom passed and told them when we were meeting with the funeral home, all they said was Sorry and send us the contract. It wasn't until several days after Mom's funeral and burial that the representative even contacted me. To this day, I have no idea if we received the contracted prices that Lincoln Heritage supposedly had with our funeral home. Extremely disappointed in the lack of service during this time!!
