I probably come here at least once every other month. So many activities, plays, ballet, and opera/orchestra playing that there is never a dull moment when one visits the Linc Center. Most recently, Lapin and I came here to see the Big Apple Circus, yes -- it's meant for kids but I am a child at heart. Unlike, other performances I seen, the circus in the empty space between two buildings --- which means port-a-potty-a-galore...The circus itself was okay, but geared to a younger audience. Worth a visit, if you never been and if you can score a deal.

Opening night of Porgy and Bess, It was magnificent. It was my first red carpet event and the energy was lit. The show was great my first Opera and I felt like a movie star. Lincoln Center is the the diamond stud of performance arts. The crowd was stimulating and everyone was so polite, I must invest into going to more great events at Lincoln Center.

Spectacular hall, great performances. Lots of different spaces for performances. Each space brings its own feel to the performance. Every seat is a good seat in the house and the space is so well used that it is easy to forget that you are in the middle of NYC streets.

Dear Lord, what are those extra fees? Price shown, add to cart and suddenly two extra fees. Not low. Come on!

And this part is the best, quote: "Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts believes that the arts are not a privilege, but an essential human right" - yeah...

When the Opera House is closed you can wander around the foyer and gift shop, unaccompanied and for free. We did. The architecture is interesting, as are two epic paintings by Marc Chagall. Security staff were untypically helpful and friendly.

How can anyone "review" Lincoln Center? That's like trying to review - I dunno - The Parthenon or something. It is what it is: beautiful, elegant, a place to relax in the nooks you find wherever they've hidden their little parks and fountains off the main plaza. If you've never been to the Met or ABT or anything else there you really have to go. I even enjoy just going into the vairous gift shops. So very New York.

A terrific place to see a show any time of the year. Lovely even to just visit the fountain out front! We attended the opera and had a delightful experience. Remember that you can always get inexpensive seats up in the Family Circle and the sound is really good up there.
