Lifetime Water Systems Inc. Review

After doing enough referrals and being told all my years I had free moving it turned out they couldn t find the free moving record. Paid for re-install and system was working before uninstall. System got reinstalled at new house but surprisingly won t work. They tried to up-sell a new system but I felt that was kinda odd. Next day I decided to look at system myself, found an unplugged wire from circuit board. Plugged it in and it is not loose, system works since then. After having LWS call me almost every 2-3 weeks to re-install system I ve not heard a peep from thrm since the day of re-install, seems very fishy but we ve always liked the system we have. Not 100% sure what we should do for maintenance going forward as I feel we can t trust these guys.

We saw the presentation from Himanshu and got to know the water quality is not good. After the system installation, the water quality is extremely good and we are happy with the results. Their service is also good and I appreciate the follow-ups done by the sales person. He answered all our questions and was very supportive through out the process.

Not interested in your product(s), leave me alone. Your incessant calls are so annoying, I will continue to give your company poor reviews and will never recommend your services. I had a great experience with Mike. He thoroughly explained the products- we selected the AirMaster Ultra, EC5, Hyselux System and CleanStart by Rainsoft. I am really impressed with the AirMaster, our home smells fresh and eliminated alot of dust pollutants. The water filtration system has made my life easier; boiling water in a pot for various food i make has cut my time in half. Our skin is more softer and we are getting clean water. My bills are cut in half because of the Rainsoft system. Thank you for making our lives easier!

The guy that sold us this very overpriced system stressed to us that we were joining their family and we would be looked after with follow up calls and reminders to change our filters. How many times has that happened ZERO!!
We haven t really noticed any changes in our water or our quality of life as the sale person told us we would.
Similar systems are available at all the big box stores, our fault for not doing our research I guess.
Save your money and deal with someone else who isn t trying to take you!!

I love a good redemption story. After 2 missed appointments that we signed up for at Home Depot that left my husband and I feeling like we weren t even actual people, we finally had a presenter named Tom Turnbull who did a fabulous presentation that convinced us to purchase a water filtration system along with a 10+ supply of environmentally friendly products. The next day, Tom Mahabar came to install the system and it went very well. We have well water, so our water has no city treatment and now the water is much softer.

We purchased the Rainsoft system in 2014 and are very pleased with its performance. Titus Paul was sent by Rainsoft at our request (to test our water) and was very knowledgeable about water purification systems. After lengthy discussion with Titus and research on our part, we decided to purchase the Rainsoft system. After installation of the system we find we drink more water, and our homemade soups and cooked vegetables taste better. Our dishes from the dishwasher are cleaner and free of spots and stains. Clothes also feel cleaner and softer. After taking a shower, both skin and hair feel softer than before. We regularly use humidifiers that spray a fine mist of water into the air. We noticed that there is no longer an accumulation of fine calcium dust on our furniture, which occurred when we used hard water in the humidifiers. We also feel that the cost of operating the system, for electricity and backwash water, is reasonable and is well worth it for the benefits obtained. We also found the service to be excellent and expedient. We are very pleased with our water.

Our Lifetime technician Marek was extremely friendly and helpful. After changing our filters he waited for my husband to arrive home as he had some questions. While waiting he went the extra mile by vacuuming one of the filters and explained in detail how to care for the unit. He answered all of my husbands questions knowledgeably. I called Lifetime because I was having a problem with my softener. Robert showed up for a regular service call and after resolving the problem, ended up re-plumbing my entire system, (which I had set up myself 3 years ago but mistakenly plumbed incorrectly). He really knows his stuff, was extremely friendly and very conscientious, even removing his shoes before walking on our carpet after coming up from the basement.

Have been using this system for approximately a year and hope our friends and family to have this system. This is one of the best investment that we have made for our home and family. This system has improved the wellness in the home for e.g we do not get soap residue on the bath tub and utensils. Over the past few years, I was using a cheap water softener along with Reverse Osmosis. Being a pharmacist, I checked the water, where I discovered that the system was not working as per the requirements. One day, my friend introduced me to the RainSoft Water System, and after checking the water in a lab, I was very happy with the results.
After calling Heemanshu and watching his presentation, I bought the system, and since five months I have been using the RainSoft Water System,leading me to realize the large difference between a cheap water system and the RainSoft Water System. Now, I recommend all my friends and family members to get this system.

I was already inclined towards getting a water softener. After a detailed demonstration from Asif, I could easily figure out the difference between Rainsoft and other brands.

I've had this system for a year now and during this time enjoyed it. Being in the tech industry I constantly check to see improvements and just make sure I have the best overall as hard to judge a book by it's cover. After carefully vetting several top companies nobody can come close to the valour of the quality of these guys. To put a recognized brand, Home Depot has included them as a vendor.

It is hard to gage a client and so some tactics used do not sit well. I agree with some of the reviews here but this is the name of the business and the world we live in.

If you want a system that will be critical in your everyday life to function be part of the Rainsoft family that puts the water that comes from the man above in your home!

Prompt & courteous service. Called office at noon, Robert showed up 7pm same day! He replaced our 12 year old Rainsoft Gold system with the new EC5 system. Rob explained the entire process well, & answered all our questions. Cleaned up after himself, & took back all the old equipment. Very impressed with company & Robert.

I love Lifetime Water system, after Shawer you feel so good no itchy and akin is so soft. Raheem approached me to show the system how it works end up I fell in love with the system. My family is very happy to have this Lifetime Water system. I had a small problem, Mr. Paul and Raheem both helped to resolve immediately very next day. My experience with LWS was exceptional! Raheem the water technician took the time to fully explain their product and the difference between the current state of my water supply vs. water that has passed through their treatment system. The difference was literally clear to see and I am now drinking, washing, and cooking with water that is free of residue and harmful chemicals. In addition, their air purifier and range of eco-friendly soaps and household cleaners allow me to enjoy clean living to the fullest in my home.

They also worked with my tight schedule and arrived to install the system during a time window that most other companies would not even offer, flexibility at its finest! Raheem followed up in person that same day to confirm my satisfaction and provide an overview of the installed system and products.

We purchased rainsoft water treatment system from lifetime water systems we are extremely satisfied and happy with the services provided to us by the company. The tech Raheem. was helpful , knowledgeable and very family oriented . We felt very comfortable during the presentation before he could ask us to purchase the system we had already made our mind to go for it. The alkaline feature of the water was one of the reason for our purchase. Also the way the system look and the technology behind it made us comfortable.

Got sucked in at Home Depot to have a "technician" come to my house to perform his magic show. The total cost for this very basic water system would have costed us $111.00 a month for 180 months, would have costed $19000 at all said and done.
They dont have contracts or price list for the equipment, they try to sell you on the monthly payment which is ridiculous. I will never recommend this company to anyone, their sales tactics are unethical and the very basic products are way over priced. I have so much more to say but ill leave it at that.

I feel sorry for the people that got tricked into buying this SCAM.

This System is excellent ever since it has been installed we are enjoying very good quality water in fact my friends and neighbor borrows water now and then. the person who came to do the demo Mr Ash did a wonderful job or presenting the whole system very clearly ..the best part is at no point did he try to sell anything to us and he could answer all the questions we asked.and now the system is proving what all Mr Ash had told us.Bottom line we feel good to drink the water .. our skin and hair feel good.and we are using products given by the company and we are using less dishwasher and less detergent..

We had probably the worst session over. The presenter never introduced himself and the manager was there for the whole time, sat quietly and on his phone through out the course of the presentation. Once the sales pitch was done, the manager took over and make us buy the system. I said I would not until we got some time to discuss, and I am not making a hasty decision, I need a day to think about. He decided to threaten us with health effects, and how we are drinking dirty water, etc. The manager decided to close off the ipad and walk away, and I said sure, no problem. Despite us telling them that we had guests over, they kept persisting the sale, scaring us with "you'll feed your family this dirty water" from the water that we drink.

This company, their sales technique is far from professional and lack of general respect of a household, a husband and a wife, or the intelligence. We are both educated in Biochemistry, water safety, health effects and they decided to woo us with their fancy science that was deceiving.

I have filed a report to the BBB and will make sure Home Depot is informed of their scam.

We went to HOME DEPOT to book an appointment for a water test, in a very short time Rahim came to our house from Lifetime Water Systems company providing us with absolutely every little detail that needs to be known about water quality and it's treatment procedures. All our questions and doubts were cleared with a great amount of kindness and patience followed by immediate installation by Tom the next day.He also just like Rahim completed his task perfectly and we were fully satisfied with their excellent job and manners.The best part was that Rahim came back the next day to test the system and explain how the system works. We highly recommend this great team of experts to whoever that may want to purchase a water treatment system.

I was extremely sick last year due to the VOCs in my tap water and Raheen and Peter were able to fix my water supply to my house within a single day! The experiance was extremely professional and flawless.

We had been considering purchasing a water filtration system for awhile and agreed to have Lifetime Water Systems come into our home and present their product. The presentation was informative but time consuming. Nearing the end of the presentation I said I would not want the entire grouping of products totalling $10,000 but would be interested in purchasing two of the items. The sales representative became increasingly hostile, refused to give me pricing on the products I was interested in and told me that if I did not understand the value of the entire package then I would never follow through with a purchase regardless of the cost. I will now be purchasing my system elsewhere.

I said yes to SERVICE not to system , now I ve had Life time water system 5 years plus now. A friend referred me to RAHEEN . He is a wonder full man with right approach an honest opinion explain my family in detail and value of the water system to have it . we trust his words but system was expensive. my friend had system installed 10 year ago by Raheem and he is very pleased with service . I said yes to him and so happy that i have made the decision, my water tastes wonderful and is so clear. I no longer have cloudy water, with a chemical smell. I have referred them to another friend and she too is happy with her system. When ever I have question my representative Raheem is right there to help me. Now that is so rare these days. Sales people come and sell but My guy is GREAT !!!!!

I was stopped at home depot requesting for a water test do be done on my water at home, the gentleman indicated that a team member would come out and show me what services that were available.
Merwyn came by for the day that I had requested and he was excellent!!! He was very informative and tested my tap water, bottled water and compared it to the filtered system water. I was very happy with the services!! I got the full system to filter all my running water in my house!! I was absolutely thrilled about the the warranty, the services and payment plan option and not to mention all the natural products that they provided. I recommend this system to anyone in the GTA, since the water is so hard and can not only damage all of your pipes and fixtures but I'm sure this will effect our health on a long term basis. Raheem from LifeTime water system (Home Depot) came into our house to demonstrate the water system. His introduction was very good and he provided us with all the knowledge we needed to know about it. He was very polite and respectful and made sure we understood the process of the whole system (even to the children). It was very surprising seeing the difference in water. Very excited to see how our new water turns out.

Great Water Treatment System, for health. Superb presentation, from Water Technician. And quick installation with licencee Technician. Quick response for any problem.

My experience was bad for 2 reasons. The first was the woman who signed me up at Home Depot. She told me that the water test would be done for SAFETY reasons which of course turned out to be false and she did not mention a sales call of any kind.
Second, in the middle of a pandemic, a sales man shows up with quite an impressive magic show detailing how a 10,000 dollar system will improve our water PREFERENCE. These products do not improve the quality or safety of your water, especially in a Canadian municipality. He then wanted my wife and I to decide on spending the 10 grand after 1.5 hours of shilling. Not a chance. Took him 20 minutes to pack up and leave all while still trying to convince me that this was in my best interest.
It was sad. Also, the best was when he tried to convince us that our dog prefers to drink out of the toilet because the chlorine evaporates. That's all you need to know.

This review is in two parts : Part 1 Regarding the technician/salesperson that came to do the test. Jerry C. was great!. Knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what he does. A true professional and would be a valuable asset to an organization. 5 stars for him!!.
Part 2. The company/product. Gimmicky testing. High pressure sales to sign on the spot for a $10,000+ contract without the opportunity to do some research , or check into the company. (not a fault of Jerry's, it standard company protocol I assume). Any company that forces you to ACT NOW or LOSE THE OPPORTUNITY FOREVER ... MUST have something to hide. After doing a little digging after the demo I found some not so favorable comments about the product and it's value. They definitely got me thinking about purchasing a water filtration system for my home and family, which I will likely do in the near future, but it won't be from them.

I have had this water treatment system (Rain Soft) for two months now and I have to say that I love the water I am getting at my home. Ash come to our home to do a demo of how hard the city water is and what the water treatment system does. He had answers to all my questions. He was clear on the numerous benefits the improved water brings to the home and family and I completely agree with him. One notable change among others I have noticed is that I get very low or no calcium deposits in the shower area, sinks, bathtubs, mirrors etc. This helps keep things clean or require less effort to clean. I already had a reverse osmosis system for drinking water and therefore, I only opted to add the water treatment system for treated water for the rest of the house. Ash understood the need and did just that. I highly recommend that you give Ash enough time to explain to you the whole process before making your decision (demo, quality water benefits and financing). This water treatment system is a must for all households and I am pleased that I have quality water in my home. Ash, thank you for a pleasant experience!

Till Today, we are in Touch and he Helped me Recently Transferring the System from my Earlier Home to Current Home Including Installation. I Love the Product and Till Date Since then, all my Family Members Do NOT Drink Water from anywhere Except our OWN House Water Treated by the Lifetime Water System Machine. $10,000 for a water system is not worth the money. If you receive a call asking to set up a 30 minute water testing appointment in your home and you'll receive a gift card - just decline it. The appointment is actually 2.5 hours long and the sale rep does not have a gift card for you.

I have owned a Water System for over 12 years and have bee extremely happy with it. I find it comforting to freely drink water from my tap and to experience how soft the water is for my showers.

My disappointment is that the company does not have a points (VIP) program for long standing customers like myself. Customers like myself, who have purchased the system outright and continue to financially support with ongoing maintenance, should be able to realize some incentives and that has not happened! totally disappointing!

Had a guy sent from Home Depot come today to test my water. Not only would the guy never tell me the full price because $73 a month sounds nicer than 15000$ after 15 years of payments. The guy got real pushy when I told him I needed to think about it and do research before signing any contract for any length of time. The guy got real pushy even though I truly was considering it. He started his presentation by showing me photo copies of his 140 clients he served and said to call any of them and ask if they love their system. Which is probably the strangest sales tactic I ve ever seen. So if you buy one of these systems, know that the salesman will carry around a contract with all your information on it. Your name address email phone number. And encourages potential clients to call you? Is this part of my 15 year contract that he barely explained? That my info is now public access and I can have people call me for life to ask about this water system? What a joke.

Raheem has been an absolute pleasure to deal with as always. We purchased our second complete water conditioning system & drinking system from him. His knowledge, expertise and customer service made us contact him again for our second purchase. Extremely satisfied! Thank you Raheem!

Heemanshu helped us with the purchase of Rainsoft Water and air filter system. He was very professional and tested our water, compared it with the filtered water which he filtered at our home. We were impressed with his demo and the quality of water his mini filter produced at our home. He provided us chemical and technical details too. His service was quick and we got the system installed same day. It has been a month and we can feel the difference, the water quality is similar to what we feel/see in hotels. I had body itching issues which I dont feel anymore, also seems like this water is light for stomach. The utensils have regained the lost shine and clothes washed in this water are cleaner than before. We need to use very little dishwash and laundry wash.

Asif was a technician who came over . He is absolutely knowledgeable and informative. He answered all our questions. He was very patient. Don`t mention he is very polite and cultured. He didn`t push us. Strongly recommend not only water system but also Asif!

The person who came to do the water test was Demetre he demonstrated the Rainsoft Water treatment system very professionally like the value and all the benefits the systems brings. He didnt try to pull any salesman tricks or push me past my comfort zone and he allowed my wife and I to taste what our water would be like if i had the system and helped me understand the benefits of having good water. Demetre gave a very detailed presentation and took his time answering our questions. Our skin and hair are softer, my dishwasher works better , my laundry is so soft and fluffy, best of all i don't have to buy any bottled water anymore (thank god)! Demetre welcomed us to the lifetime family which my wife and I can not be any happier with! Demetre is very down to earth and enthusiastic, always smiling, seems to enjoy helping families and has a passion for getting good water in people s homes. Glad I booked an appointment with Home Depot when they called to offer this Lifetime Water Systems with Air Solution. Waqar Syed was the sales rep. who showed and explained the pros and cons about the product. Such a nice guy and a gentleman. He's fully knowledgeable about what he's selling. He did a great job of convincing us to own the complete system. He threw in so many freebies and extended our trial period. At the end of the day, it's about being fully convinced and satisfied knowing the product is of quality and class. Job well done Waq!

At first I was skeptical noting the news that I have read from the internet about the company but it turned out there was no need to be worried. Nathan was really honest about the product and showed us the value in investing with the solution. It has been almost a year now that we have installed the system and We are now reaping the benefits of having the water treatment solution .Allergies are not recurring anymore as compared before. We had Home Depot come in and test our water, absolutely determined not to buy what they were selling. We thought, sure I ll let you test our water for a $20 HD gift card. But George came in and with his genuine warm nature and detailed explanation, won us over. Later that same day Peter came in and quickly hooked everything up and answered all our questions. He was professional and extremely personal as well. I already taste a huge difference in the drinking water! I got the system for our kids, they are prone to eczema and I want them drinking the cleanest water they can. I highly recommend these guys.

Abhay was the technician that came over and provided the tests of out city water. He was very professional and informative. All questions were answered and even supported after install questions and issues. At the end of day we are extremely happy with this rain soft system and out Rep Abhay.
