Couldn't take our dog inside, maybe if there was a " No dogs allowed " we wouldn't have bothered !!!! I thought all gods creatures would have been welcomed into gods house,
We've been to many other churches & Cathedrals in England & Wales & never been turned away, Shame on you Lichfield

Beautiful church. Needs a good cleaning outside. Free to visit as it should be.

A beautiful place to visit. Iconic to the landscape of Lichfield, there are plenty of events throughout the year if you do not visit to "just visit a cathedral"

I really enjoy looking round the cathedral itself but it's also nice to view the Christmas trees in the competition.

Superb architecture can wonder inside and my son and daughter both enjoyed it too not far from shops and a good park too, with a river, feels like a a step back in time.

Beautiful stunning architecture. Just a shame the guide book doesn't really tell you anything about the statutes that are on the outside.

Its very old. I was expecting something modern, vibrant, colourful but its very grey with coloured glass

We enjoyed revisiting Lichfield Cathedral, learning more about its history, seeing the Doctor Johnson portrait and grateful to the gentleman who talked about the angel.

This is a very beautiful Cathedral. Well worth the making the journey. I'd like to visit in the summer to witness it's beauty in full glory.

Fantastically impressive gothic cathedral rears up like an alien spaceship over the placid leafy Stowe and Minster pools. I don't know of any other cathedral quite like it in the UK.

What a beautiful cathedral. They hold great services, including choir performances by school children. Amazing! Always love coming to such a majestic structure. Lichfield itself is incredibly picturesque too.

I love Lichfield cathedral. Great place to visit with lots of major activities during the year. Charles Darwins grandfather lived over the road and there is a fascinating museum in his old house. Well worth the visit, it's free as well!

We went to see the Christmas light show & Christmas tree display, they were absolutely magical, very well done, a lovely evening for all ages.

Always good to be at Lichfield Cathedral see the windows and imagine how they managed to build without the building equipment we have today.

A wonderful cathedral, so well preserved with amazing stained glass windows and art installations. As well it's own incredible history of some 1300 years, of which there is an abundance of information here it also has close links to the Staffordshire regiment whose home is close by at Whittington barracks, they also have a very long and distinguished history which is well documented in various parts of the cathedral.

I just love Lichfield Cathedral. Three fantastic spires, amazing architecture, especially the front of the cathedral. Inside, the atmosphere is special,holy. There is lots of history to be found as you walk around inside the cathedral, there is also a very good souvenir shop at the rear of the cathedral.
