The Liceo Maffei is well located in the historic center of the city, excellent as a bathroom when you're in the city in the afternoon and you don't have a euro for coffee.

The location is well maintained, although sometimes with little attention to detail: my wife did not appreciate the fountain of the cloister always turned off, and the numerous traces of food scattered under the benches, which are never cleaned by the staff.

Not just the top staff, who sometimes lets themselves be taken by hysterics and delusions of protagonism, starting to give lessons to guests, not to mention cleaners, often grumpy, who complain at the slightest request. Furthermore, we have not appreciated that despite having put the "do not disturb" outside the door, there is often a coming and going for the premises of the school of various staff and authoritarian personalities.

I appreciated the bicycle rental service, but I would have liked it to be available more than once a year.

On the other hand, the gym and personal trainers, who often give in to moments of self-centeredness, feel bad, while the badly equipped locker rooms, without the possibility of washing and with an acrid smell of widespread sweat.

Excellent cuisine, I especially recommend the salted brioche with ham, cheese and salad. I strongly advise against the automatic distribution services, which could disappoint you by using glasses of hot water instead of the drinks required.

The toilets suffer too frequently from malfunctions, which despite being reported to the staff, remain for a long time.

The activities that the animators propose to the boys during the morning are not always attended with enthusiasm, because they are too frontal and didactic, but certainly formative.

The magazine that is distributed sometimes presents boring contents, not suitable for customers, while some really funny and interesting features.

I really appreciated the familiarity of the environment and the cohesion among the guests, in addition to the historic building in which it is located, which makes the Liceo Maffei a compulsory stay for those coming through this city.
