INCREDIBLE! We did the scenic river float. Our guide was the coolest. Super knowledgeable and just fun to be around. Kids sat up front and got bounced around and we really all enjoyed ourselves. Would HIGHLY recommend.
Had an excellent experience. Great Raft Leader Orion was absolutely fantastic. Gave us a ton of notables that we had no idea about. The rafting was great not too intense but well worth the time and money. I recommend this place if your looking for a great first time whitewater rafting experience.
Great value! We did a 2.5 hour smooth-water trip on the Snake River. Our guide navigated around rough water expertly and was adept at spotting wildlife. We saw several bald eagles, beaver dens (but no beavers), and a moose (don't expect this, it is RARE).
I am moderately disabled by Multiple Sclerosis, and the staff worked with me to ensure my safe participation.
Clean practices are in place to protect customers from COVID.
There were 13 of us, all related, from all different generations and home states. It was like herding cats til our guide, Aaron got us all pulling together! I ve made that float before but I think this was the best. I have a new fav.
Our river guide, JJ, was fantastic! We took the whole family, kids 18 to 7, and had a blast. JJ had us laughing the entire time. A must do while in Jackson!

The scenic tour allowed us to see a ton of wildlife. The views were spectacular and Colin was super informative and quite engaging.

What an amazing unforgettable experience. The staff at Lewis and Clark was fantastic and made sure that everyone had an amazing time. Our guide Orion was personable, informational, and absolutely hilarious and made the trip even more enjoyable. We signed up for the 4:30pm whitewater run and it included a steak dinner at no extra charge. The food was fantastic and we ate on the side of the beautiful Snake River. I would recommend Lewis and Clark River Expeditions to anyone!
Took a scenic boat trip down the snake river. Went in afternoon did not see Moose but did see several Bald Eagle and other birds and wildlife. guide was very informative. would do again.

Our family of 11 went with Lewis & Clark on the Classic Rafting Trip last week. Our guide was Aaron. He was wonderful. Our group ranged from 7 to 50. The kids loved it and the adults even more. Aaron got them right up front of the raft getting sprayed with water and laughing the whole way down. None of us ever got overwhelmed. He was funny, entertaining, calm, knowledgable, experienced guide and focused all 8 miles down the river. He pointed out animals and wildlife as we paddled. It was our first rafting experience and we would ALL do it again. Thank you Lewis & Clark and Aaron for a rad experience!
Terrific! A great way to see the natural beauty of WY up close and personal. Our party of 6 (3 kids) ended up having a boat to ourselves. Our guide (Alex) was knowledgeable about the local wildlife and the geological history. We must have seen a half dozen bald eagles! The ride is mostly very gentle; the only reason we got splashed once is because of the kids' special request to steer towards some (pretty mild) rapids. We were worried it would be too cold (late September), but it turned out very comfortable. (Dressing in layers is always solid advice, of course.) Would recommend!
Amazing water rafting trip! We had a family get together with ages from 20s to 70s and everyone had a blast on the small boats. Our guide Steve was awesome and super knowledgable about everything on the river. We had an amazing time and felt very safe at the same time!
Really great experience! My husband and I were in a small boat with another group of 4 people and it was so much fun. Our guide was so entertaining - we had Ben. He pointed out wildlife and answered all our questions. He told so many great stories too. I am looking forward to coming back!
We did the scenic float yesterday. We have 2 teenagers and a 5 year old so we couldn t do the whitewater trip. It was a nice float down the river. You can t beat the views. Jacob was knowledgeable and made the trip even better! This is a great family activity in Jackson. We will definitely be back to do the whitewater trip!

We did the morning scenic float with Orion and the whole experience was amazing. Orion was very personable and knowledgeable. He answered every question we had about the Snake, the wildlife and the area in general. We saw several bald eagles and even a few river otters. This is the company to book with!

Excellent trip! The company made sure we had a great experience even when faced with some issues. The river was too high to run the small boat trip that we had reserved so they moved us to the bigger boat. Then the other group that was supposed to be in the bigger boat with us cancelled last minute. They scrambled some extra guides to go down the river with us, made us wear wet suits (thank you, that water is cold!), and our main guide (Aaron) was great! He was able to guide us down the river flawlessly - don't even remember needing to backpaddle at all! Whether you go when the river is wild like we did or when it is milder later in the season, I think this company will make sure you enjoy your ride.
My boyfriend and I just an AMAZING experience with Lewis & Clark riding in the smaller purple rafts. Our guide, Luke, was extremely experienced, funny, and made us feel safe throughout the entire 1.5+ hour ride! In addition to the awesome rapids, we also saw some wildlife including several bald eagles, muskrats, and osprey. From the beginning, the staff took all of the necessary social distancing precautions. We definitely hope to come back!

This is the company to use when coming to Jackson Hole. The staff is friendly, the boats are as comfortable as rafting boats can be and I really enjoyed the views!!! Not to mention we had an absolute blast.

We went in September and the weather is beautiful but the water is chilly so bring some warm clothes or jackets for when you get off the rafts in the bus.
LACRE made it easy for us if we wanted to meet at the put in. We were staying outside of Jax Hole and it was more convenient to meet there. I was sent detailed instructions and was texted the google map directions. It was so helpful! Upon arrival, everyone was friendly and the guides were very nice. Our guide Collin was excellent, very knowledgeable about the river and the wildlife in the area. Despite my party of 2 sharing a raft with a party of 8 (young kids and parents) who hardly listened or paid attention, we enjoyed ourselves and the view was phenomenal. If you want a more adventurous river run, the smaller rafts are recommended, but we were unable to book this trip due to no more availability in the small rafts, so book ahead! We will definitely use L&C again and will request Collin. Thanks!

Great river Rapids raft. Steven was fun, interactive and a great guide. They ran out of steak for our order but the fish was also great. Amazing trip
So much fun! Small boat is the way to go! O'Ryan was our guide..... he was very knowledgeable about the whole experience. My 15 year old daughter was able to be one of the main paddlers and my son loved the huge rapids!
Nice and friendly staff, Claire was a great experienced guide with lots of knowledge about the area. She took on the extra load of our family of 11 as you can tell from our photo even in the shallow waters of August. Relaxing afternoon with the family!
Great guide on the 8 mile whitewater rafting trip. The kids and adults in our group all had a very fun time.
We loved our time on the river! It was a perfect choice for our young family as our kids aren't old enough yet for whitewater rafting. We saw tons of Eagles and our guide, Riley, was extremely educational, using his degree to help us understand more about the landscape around us as we rode. We hope to come back again someday and would pick Lewis & Clark River Expeditions again in a heartbeat!

Had a great time on the scenic float trip with Joe! Everyone who works at Lewis and Clark is helpful and knowledgeable about the area- the river, the wildlife, and several other fun facts that make the trip more fun. The trip is very calm and good for a nice day of sight-seeing. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to spend a day on the river!

Panned our entire day around the float trip which was cancelled 5min before the float. Not enough time to find another trip very disappointed. Called other outfitters who where still floating just already booked

Worth every penny! My husband and 2 kids went yesterday. Being our kids 1st time rafting I was a little nervous. Our guide Orion was excellent at giving instruction and making sure we had a safe fun time. Everyone working here was pleasant and helpful. Since we got off the river I haven't stopped smiling!
We had a great time today! From checking in, the bus rides to and from the river and the time spent on the water, it was all fantastic. My family had Riley as a guide for the scenic float. Riley was an amazing guide. Update: I was tired from our trip back so only I only wrote a short review. A few more notes: A lot of wildlife to see. We saw two moose, and at least 6 bald eagles! Riley was extremely knowledgeable about the local history and wildlife and kept us entertained. My family agreed that Riley turned a nice trip into an amazing trip!
