We discovered this wonderful bread several months ago. It is the BEST bread ever! Always fresh, soft, love the nuts, and the half loaf keeps us from letting bread ruin. Keep it up Lewis Bakeries!! Never stop making this bread!!
The Hawaiian bread was good but don't even try their sourdough. It falls apart!! It won't even hold up to an egg salad!!! let alone a hamburger or pb and j. Not even toasted or grilled.
Bitter taste and a waste of money.

Well I don't know how the bread tastes but from what I heard the way they treat their employees I don't believe I would buy their product. According to my inside source sounds like a sweatshop they don't treat them well this particular person passed out twice and nobody seemed to really care just told him to get up and go to work That's pretty cold.
Glad I found lewis bread! We started with their low carb bread and switched to their keto bread when we saw it on display. It's way expensive(we've spent $20 on bread just this week! Lol) but being able to eat bread with no net carbs is awesome! I do suggest making a whole loaf keto option(unless it's going to be $8!!!) and I would suggest maybe lowering their price a bit but either way, y'all have a permanent customer with my family
The product is perfectly fine, but the way the company treats people is NOT.
For a long time this company has placed billboards all over Murfreesboro saying they are hiring. Yet, talking to the human resources director at the Rutherford County job fair, I can see exactly why they can't hire anyone- she had the attitude that I should be groveling before her for the opportunity to work for them. Looking down her nose at me because of the fact that I have worked in the service industry for the last few years, despite the fact that I currently make more than the wage they are offering . After reading the reviews of how they treat others, maybe I should be thankful?
I guess they like hiring kids and convicts because they can get away with abusing them?
Maybe when unemployment was ten percent they could get away with this, but times have changed. After this, I will no longer purchase their product, and I am unhappy that they bring dishonor to a good last name.
Wow, what an experience. This place is neat, the people are so nice and polite. They will answer any of your questions and the smell was delightful, all I needed was some deli-meat, potato salad, baked beans and chips that would have hit the spot. Everyone needs to try out their bread, buns and subs. So, what are you waiting for, it's time to get yours today, fresh baked bread. Yummy!!!
I've eaten Bunny Bread for years, and I actually had no idea it was made in Murfreesboro. I also just tried some of the Lewis Bakeries branded "Hawaiian Bread" that's sold in half loaves at Kroger. It was pretty damn good. I just wish they sold it in whole loaves. Not too sweet and very soft. Excellent for sandwiches.
