Most teachers are awesome. But at the beginning of the semester, when I paid for a 4 credit class, they discontinued the lab manual and the book. I couldn't get the book and was forced to buy a cruddy online version. The teacher had to get the author's permission to print out lab pages and hand them to us. The left hand doesn't communicate to the right.
I went to college here a couple of times. It's a beautiful campus with both old and modern architecture. The classes are good also and I did learn a lot.
have a problem with their classes for the CNA program going to class 2 days per week is honestly not helping one I have 2 full time job and I have to take care of kids I missed two classes because the first one was for my kids and the second one is because I was sick I would like to suggest that you can do online class for the ones who are sick but still have their education.
Another problem i have is that classes two days per week really?!?!?! I paid money to study and I can t do that at home sometimes going to school helps because I have my own study time and be able to ask the professor for help what s the point of paying 1 grand something when I m getting less time to study because of a full time job and a nanny.
This college is truly a waste of money it may be affordable but what s the point if you can t grasped everything because
1.classes two days per week
2.not considering that there are parents and students who are struggling to pass and work at the same time
Plus their grading system is weird it s so strict and stupid a 82 is a C and a 74 is a D like why??
I wish that I can give this a negative but that s impossible to do for a rating.
The guidance counselors are terrible. I was told repeatedly that I would graduate on time with my degree and certificate. When I asked if I needed any specific classes to take to finish out my degree and certificate, I was told I could take anything I wanted. I did graduate with my associate degree but not my certificate because I needed 4 more classes. They do not guide you in the right direction. I was fresh out of high school, it would've been nice to have some extra help.
The school may have a good rep, and may have some good classes. But it s policies are weird, like today they don t cancel school but have snow and ice on the parking lot. If you re going to make students come to school at least clear the lots... salt... something... But no, that doesn t happen. Also their grading scale is a bit weird. Why should on classes scale be different from any other class? Why should one medical profession be stricter than another? Is that even allowed?
L&C is an all around great experience! The faculty and staff really care and want to see students succeed. The campus is beautiful with gardens, sculptures and exceptional new and historic architecture. There are fast-track programs for traditional students as well as great options for returning students and families looking to take a few classes.
Went to get my covid-19 vaccine. It was well organized. Keep up the good work
