Lenexa Baptist Church: A Place of Worship, Community, and Growth
Welcome to Lenexa Baptist Church, a vibrant community of believers who gather together to worship God and grow in faith. Our church is located in the heart of Lenexa, Kansas, and we welcome people from all walks of life to join us for worship on Saturdays at 5:00pm or Sundays at 9:30am and 11:00am.
At Lenexa Baptist Church, we believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it provides us with guidance for our daily lives. We strive to create an environment where people can come together to learn about God's love and grace while building meaningful relationships with one another.
Our church offers a variety of programs and ministries designed to meet the needs of individuals at every stage of life. From children's programs like AWANA and Vacation Bible School to youth groups, adult Bible studies, and senior adult ministries - there is something for everyone at Lenexa Baptist Church.
One thing that sets our church apart is our commitment to serving others both locally and globally. We partner with organizations like Mission Southside, Operation Christmas Child, International Mission Board (IMB), North American Mission Board (NAMB), Disaster Relief efforts through Southern Baptists Convention (SBC) , among others -to make a difference in the world around us.

Worship Services:
Our worship services are designed to provide an opportunity for individuals or families seeking spiritual growth through music & teaching from scripture. We offer three services each weekend:
Saturday Service:
Our Saturday service begins at 5 pm; it’s perfect if you have other commitments on Sunday mornings or prefer an evening service time.
Sunday Services:
We offer two Sunday morning services; one starts at 9:30 am followed by another service starting at 11 am.
Children’s Ministry:
At LBC we believe children are important members within our congregation; therefore we have created age-appropriate environments where they can learn about Jesus Christ in fun ways.
AWANA:
AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” which comes from II Timothy 2:15 “Do your best work so you may be proud before God as one who correctly teaches the word.” This program meets Wednesday evenings during school year months providing kids ages Pre-K through High School opportunities memorize scripture verses while having fun playing games & making friends.
Vacation Bible School:
VBS happens every summer here @ LBC! It’s a week-long event filled with games & activities centered around learning more about Jesus Christ!
Youth Ministry:
The Youth Ministry @ LBC exists as an extension of what parents do within their homes – helping students grow into mature followers of Jesus Christ by providing them opportunities connect w/ other students their age while learning more about Him!
Adult Ministries:
LBC offers several different Adult Ministries including Men’s/Women’s Groups & Small Group Studies throughout weeknights during school year months.
Senior Adult Ministries:
LBC has several Senior Adult Ministries including monthly luncheons w/ guest speakers along w/ day trips throughout year!
Missions Outreach Programs
Mission Southside
Mission Southside exists as an outreach ministry focused on meeting physical needs within Johnson County KS area such as food insecurity/housing assistance/etc… They also provide opportunities serve alongside them throughout year!
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child provides shoeboxes filled w/ gifts/toys/clothing/etc…to children living poverty-stricken areas across globe during holiday season!
International Missions Board (IMB)
The IMB exists as arm Southern Baptists Convention focused on spreading Gospel message worldwide by partnering missionaries/churches across globe!
North American Missions Board (NAMB)
The NAMB exists as arm Southern Baptists Convention focused on spreading Gospel message throughout North America by partnering missionaries/churches across continent!
Disaster Relief Efforts through Sothern Baptists Convention(SBC)
Southern Baptists Disaster Relief teams respond quickly when natural disasters strike communities across United States offering help such clean-up/rebuilding efforts along emotional/spiritual support those affected.
