We had the experience of dining here this past weekend. The encounter with this restaurant was very surprising - it was not the ambiance, the food, or the drinks. None of these things were over the top, to say the least. We were very surprised by the customer service provided by this restaurant. To start, my wife and I were recommended this restaurant by our usual server at our country club, of who also works at this establishment. The night we dined here, we saw our usual face and she sat us with pleasure. After skimming through the drink menu, she comes over and asks to take our drink order. Interrupting my wife, an older woman - one of which may look like a manager - rudely says that she will take our drink order instead. A couple of seconds later, someone else comes over and says they will take our order. After this, someone else comes over and suddenly there are four people huddled over our table. This rude woman ruined our dinner, especially after explaining something irrelevant thereafter. A part of me does not want to believe this is the owner, because an owner of an establishment so highly talked about would consider the comfort of their patrons. These people do not have table side manners at all. We are very disappointed in this restaurant and the management with their customer service. They not only were extremely rude to the employee (of which we know) but were also rude to my wife and I. Who interrupts a customer trying to merely order a drink? Clearly someone who does not value their paying customers. The server we got instead was mediocre at best, was very friendly but did not check on us as often as we would like. The food here was decent Thai food and decent prices. The encounter we experienced ruined the whole ambiance for us. It was our first time and we will not be returning, and I suggest anyone reading this does not dine at this establishment if you care about the way you are treated. Do not let backstage come upstage , lemongrass.
