Recently just left this establishment at 145 pm after being referred to use it to cater our wedding. We figured we d place a Togo order to try the items recommended since the wedding is in August. After waiting a couple minutes a server (brunette) who was taking out the trash abruptly mentioned they were closed. She did not say it in a kind matter and was very short and rude as if she was trying to rush to get her job done. I totally understand wanting to hurry to get off work but it s important that your employees know that customer service goes a long way. Had she been nice we would of been back but since she was rude we chose not to spend the thousands we initially planned to with this establishment.
Great location. Excellent customer service. Huge selection of great food and drinks. Food is the best and most authentic i have ever had in san diego. Huge portions prices are affordable. Will be going back.
The gem of our San Diego trips. We have literally flown to SD just because we missed this place. The My Kalani is one of the best meals I've ever had.
My son loves the Punalu'u french toast and Spam Musubi! We love everything we've had at Leilani's Cafe, and they are always so kind to us and really do Live Aloha <3
Third time I had been there and their food speaks volumes! So good! A little taste of Hawaii in La Jolla
Had a really good experience with the food & staff back in September. Would def recommend... food was ono!
Great place to get islander dishes like musubi (meat wrapped in seaweed and rice) or Loco Moco = 2 eggs, generous meatloaf portion topped with gravy, on top of white rice but I recommend the Hilo style which is spicy fried rice. Worthy spot to visit in San Diego!
This place makes good comfort food when you're homesick. Sure I could have made it at home, but the atmosphere and Leilani's Attic with general island and a handful of Guam goods makes it worth the drive :) (I got the Loco Moco )
