Nice experience for kids but generally overrated and expensive
Very nice and well maintained park. Danish peace and serenity is breathed. With attractions for different ages but it is an ideal playground for children of maximum age 10 years and greater use of all attractions from 1'30m high. With frequent offers on the web, the ticket price is acceptable. It can be accessed with food and there are several points for picnicking but there is also a gastronomic offer of fast food (hot dogs, hamburgers, pizzas ...) wide and varied within the park. We ate at the Italian next to the entrance (adult pizza, child pizza, salad plus 2 beers and water = 60). It is a park with diverse activities such as 4D cinema with the screening of two different films, an Atlantis aquarium, skill games in the Ninjago area, looking for gold nuggets in a mine ... Two points to improve: SCHEDULE: close the attractions at 17:00 a Sunday in August and from the 2nd half of August in the middle of summer! . They open at 10:00 but the attractions opposite the entrance of the enclosure open at 11:00! And on the other hand LANGUAGE: Zero nod to Spanish. Not a review, poster, instruction, greeting, or in the park or on the web .. Instead, the park was full of Spanish speakers! Despite this, highly recommended and would return again ...
Kids day out!
Lots of fun, fun rideskole, fun models, a great family day.
Legoland app was fantastic, live waiting times, as well as maps and information.
Great park with a lot of amusements for kids in all ages.
Not too big, many attractions also easily accessible for young children
Okay place, however, kids after a certain age will probably get a little tired of the park
A must do for any Lego fan - view from room was over miniland in the park and was mesmerising when lit up at night
Horrible place. We used 10 minutes on rides, the rest of the 7 hours queing and waiting for the food to be served (which took an hour). The Lego crazed kids would probarbly give the park three stars. Expensive, crowed, stressful and expensive.
Very expensive but nice. Good familybuffet with delicious food.
Just ok. Good for kids 6 years or younger or Lego maniacs. E.g. Liseberg as an amusement park is far away superior. Food is also ok but way too expensive. 179 DKK for a burger with french fries is way to much.
It was amazing to see original legoland
Fantastic place to go for a weekend break
Roller-coasters delivered most fun and thrill to my family :)
Stage no question if you are traveling with children! In reality, the signs of age can be seen in the park, but there are also attractions of the latest generation!
Far too overpriced and there are additional activities for a number of activities. We used a discount on Groupon.de and paid for 2 (4 years / 1 baby 5 months) children and 2 adults converted 90 euros entrance fee. Without a discount, it would be considerably more expensive. Our almost 5 year old son was already looking forward to this visit months before the holidays. He was not allowed to use some carousels because of his age-related height. But there are sufficient alternatives. Super is the small Indor area where you can wrap, feed and breast feed your toddlers / babies. Microwave available. The furniture (3 sofas with fabric cover) and a high chair made of fabric were visibly dirty on a large scale. And that could not come from one day. There are high chairs made of plastic available. The winding area is clean and diapers are offered for free in all sizes. Great are the pirate ships, on which you can shoot each other while using water cannons. Unfortunately, a cannon did not work on our site, which did not exactly motivate our son. The elevated railway was almost always broken on our day. We could not understand the reason why a staff member of the Sealife blocked us access in the event of heavy rain in the nose and we had to stand there stupid with a baby and 4 year old outside, although Sealife was actually still open. It is so sad that we were not lucky there. We are really disappointed with the day. Unfortunately our expectations did not come true, even if our son had fun.
Brilliant rides friendly people clean tidy and fun fun fun
Too many people, too long queues for everything, including food. Why did I have to queue for over 20 minutes for a hot dog? Lego is awesome, I think the rides takes too much focus from the actual Lego, which I think is kind of sad.
Fantastic place! Nice to see how everything works so well together. It has really been thought about. The app with waiting time information and park navigation is very useful. We brought our own food, but the smells of great food are everywhere.
It is oki only on weekends a lot of people and big queues for attractions
Wonderful place for kids all ages. Expensive food though!
Great experience, but with way to much waiting in line :(
They have Lego, but the country's Denmark, so it sucks.
LEGOLAND in Billund, Denmark is a really nice park. Familly friendly as most parks in Denmark are. Incredible amount of buildings and other stuff built with lego. And a theme park with nice rides.
Great attraction for families and everyone else who loves amusement parks! The lines are long during the high season but not too long. If you are here an entire day you will have time to do all the major rides and have time for a meal break.
Lego is one of the greatest toys ever made. It can be put together it a mind-boggling number of different combinations to create almost anything imaginable. I love the Technics sets and Legoland is just a wonder. I want a lego driving license!!!!
well , as an amusement park, it is cool , remember : try not to use public tranlation ,or you might end up like me . in short : Billund has an expensive airport which has not flights late at night at the flights are limited , and Billund has no o train station and it is hard to find a bus going all the way to and coming back from there . - I took there 2:30 hours later than I had planed , taking 2 trains and the next bus going half the way it was written on station bilboard. - I had to get a taxi only for me , and had to pay even more than what I had spent last year in paris and nice and monaco for transportation - inside legoland , knowing that riding the games in legoland is till 18 but the park is open till 20 , I first tried to ride on everything I could which showed me entire land , including two trains , and the tower going up and down which you could see all the legoland from top of it. I ate after 18 and I visited the miniland after that , when I knew the riding was not possible , I must suggest 4d studio as well , but I had seen it in legoland dutchland and also legoland discovery center in berlin , both last year. - I had to walk to the airport from legoland around the fense of the airport for half an hour - I found out that there was no flight after 21 , although I was told before that there was a flight on 22:50 to my destination ( amsterdam) - searching every where , I could not find an authorised person to tell me how to get to the city by bus ( there was no train at the airport ) and although there were many buses and I asked many of the drivers , they pointed to other buses ! - I was afraid that I won't be able to find a train for the night to my destination when I get to next city by bus , so I decided to try plane for tomarrow. - the person in charge told me that the system is closed and is not able to tell me what the price of the flight is going to be , the flight was at 6 am. and I had to be at the station on 4 - I was told that all city hottels including the one near airport were fully booked , I had to stay at the airport for night ( I did not close my eyes ) - waiting for 9:15 hours to get the ticket , at 4 a.m I was told that the price is 592 euroes ! I was too late for my works in amsterdam , so I took it ! although I know that new parks are added each year , I can not recommend this trip to anyone who has not preplans for the trip ,reservation for transportation and place to stay , and try not to get rid of danish money soon , you may need it in freeshop !
Too many who do not show consideration and mega long queue everywhere
My family had so fun in the park, especially the rides!
Great times with the kids to be had here. If you're an extreme ride kind of person though, you're at the wrong place.
Amazing experience, fun for both children and adults
Where is the "magic"? Everything from attractions to service is just missing that final touch. And expect to loose your money on food, although dinner in the hotel is nearly impossible.
Good experience with kids.so many attractions like lego models are great .kids love to spend time here. good place for adults also we enjoyed each n every moment here.
Want to have a great day with your kids then this is the place.
Leuk park. Drukte waar iedereen voor waarschuwde viel mee. Nergens langer dan 30 min hoeven wachten.
Leuk voor kinderen tot 12 jaar.
Voor oudere kinderen is het een beetje saai
Nice park, but impossible prices.
If it were not so exaggerated expensive would be smooth 5 stars. Almost every ride was suitable for the children of three and we had a nice day.
Holiday costs just.
Staff were all very friendly, you could tell that they like their job .
Very nice amusement park with nice attractions for large and small. We have been in you. Waiting times do well. Park is nice and compact so the walking distances are not too bad. Food is a bit more expensive than average but of good quality. The Lego shop is very expensive compared to the prices you pay in the Netherlands. Tip: we have purchased our tickets through Groupon. Saved a lot of money.
How could you possibly not love this place? Great rides, fabulous entourage and decorating and not too busy in the peak season. I had entrance for two days, which is a minimum requirement to see and do everything.
You have to honestly say that Legoland is a bit overrated. We won't find any extreme attractions here. There are 3 slightly faster queues, to which however queues are not so fast. Generally interesting is the miniature city of lego on a really large scale. Moving elements make a special impression. If you fulfill a dream and we want to have great pictures with huge exposures of lego, this is the place to be. If we have small children who are interested in lego, this is the right place. If we are looking for extreme entertainment, or at least moderately extreme, I strongly advise against legoland, because we will not experience emotions here, and in long queues you have to wait. On weekdays, there is a lot of people, the weekend does not make sense to come without a ticket vip, which we here until 3 types. In terms of standard attractions of the amusement park, legoland is not distinguished by anything and can not compete in the least with Hydepark, or even with our native energylandia in Zator. And the tickets, converting into expensive zlotys - some 350 zlotys (with dinner, very tasty, in the form of a Swedish table without limits) In the legoland alone the unique lego sets are only legoland models. At the same time, no blocks are worth buying here. Legohause is different, also in Billund, 2 km from Legoland. There is a choice of unique sets much larger, there is a large wall of blocks "on the cup."
Very nice place, but not more than two or three times. The kids are delighted, you can go ahead even if the weather is not good, because even then there are queues and crowds of people, but all attractions are working. I highly recommend it!
A really great amusement park that is worth a visit, whether for young or old. The prices for food and drink are generally okay. The food at the family buffet is above average and tasty for an amusement park. The attractions are entertaining and really put you in a good mood. We will be back :-)
It was a bit disappointing to see that everything is so commercially oriented, almost american because of the fast passes. And you think, that if you buy a lego package from the land where it came from, would be good priced.. Wrong, a nexo knight castle here is 40 euro's more expensive than in Holland. Also pay for activities where you might win a price. And yadiya #shitpostbutimeanit
Good place but they shut early in Summer (6pm, really?!) Don't buy a pint there btw parents, go to the Rema 1000 down the road, you'll save a small fortune. If you're from the UK go to Windsor instead; five times bigger in size and a lot cheaper (thanks Brexit )
Nice atmosphere in the park. With the pass we were allowed unlimited access. The queues in August seem a lot shorter than in July. Now wait a maximum of 15 minutes for most attractions. The app provides a good overview of this. The boat trip is definitely recommended. Efteling-like cruise. Roller coasters are fun and exciting enough for children. A day is almost too short to see and do everything.
I recommend everyone to visit this place at least once in a lifetime. Impressions from your stay unforgettable. Something interesting for everyone. Before the visit, it would be good to get acquainted with the attractions offered by Legoland, because it is impossible to visit everything in one day. I suggest visiting from the end and choosing the attraction. You stand in queues for 20-40 minutes and finally leave watching the figures and buildings made of blocks.
Great place to visit if you are a Lego fan. There is lots to see and do for all ages. Plenty of places to eat & drink along the way too. There is probably the largest Lego shop in the world, however all I saw was people on their phones checking prices against Amazon which (when I checked) had most sets at 30% less than on sale here, which is a shame - you'd think the flagship store would be able to offer greater offers for people who have already paid a weeks salary to get in!
We recommend. Despite the mixed weather we had a lot of fun (couple around 30y.). There is a lot to discover and to experience. The waiting times were absolutely fine. Unfortunately, the visit is very expensive.
The amusement park with a bracelet built around the Lego theme almost reached all places. Many roller coaster rides and other amusement parks and lego buildings are really great. In order to get the most out of it, the minimum length for many devices was 130 cm.
The Lego buildings in the Lego House are more beautiful than those in the park, but otherwise a very nice day out here. Not that big but a lot to experience. Attractions are primarily aimed at younger children. The Lego Shop is large but too expensive. Tip: your child can enter for free via a voucher in the Lego toy catalog.
I LOVE this place. Fantastic atmosphere. Perfect place for family fun. Every single member of staff has not only be friendly and warm and helpful, but also totally on the same wave length as the children. Really able to communicate with them on their level. Great attractions and rides and a wonderful restaurant in the adjoining hotel. The hotel has a wonderful playful Lego theme running throughout and no expense has been spared to make both the park and the hotel top notch family fun. They've really pulled put all the stops. It being in Denmark it is the ORIGINAL first LEGOLAND and historical that way too. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and have invested in an annual pass for everyone in my family as we plan to go many more times.
Pretty nice themed rooms, lived in the new LEGO castle in the wizard's room. It seemed good there could have been more interactive things in the rooms / tasks / secret things to discover. But even though it is a themed room, it is probably just a hotel room and considering that it is a good standard in the hotel room. The prices in the restaurant are accessible to pets and should probably make them only get 3. The food was good but not so good to over 800kr for 2 adults and 2 children (3/8 years).
Great Lego buildings, rides are good - but with the usual waiting times.
A really good place for kids and childish souls lots of different rides and lots of Lego that are gathered for just about everything possible that is right to look at even if you come when they open when you are far from seeing it all but as said there is something for all ages and with good opportunities to eat really well in several places in the park.
Long waiting times for some attractions. Overall very expensive.
Great combination of Lego mini worlds in real landscape and amusement park - absolutely worth seeing, even if it is in the summer mostly very, very full. My tip: come in the early afternoon, when it gets emptier!
Lovely place to spend one or two whole days for the whole family. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Great park for the kids. A good variety of options. Definitely for kids under age 10, perhaps 4-8 is perfect.
Always amazing for the children; however small. Food offering is good (burgers, pasta, hotdogs), and you can take your own if you'd rather not pay the prices.
Take drinking water!! We were astounded they wouldn't let us fill our reusable water bottles anywhere within the park, the only option being to buy it (this is a world first on our travels!). Otherwise a brilliant day out!!
Great place but some of the things are expensive special food's..
Super leuk.
Wij vonden mini legoworld kikke
The new bits are very nice, but there's a lot that is beginning to look very dated which is sad.
Feature-wise it s a great deal similar to any of the other Legolands; same rides, same models (except Miniland) and similar food stalls. The movies showing are also the same.
The employees are, without exception, fantastic. All those we encountered spoke perfect English and were unfailingly polite and helpful.
What I found the park lacked most of all, however, was unique Legoland Billund minifigure keyrings or magnets.
A beautifully designed park for children and families. The Miniland is unique. Unfortunately, the newer trains lack the reference to Lego.
Always a fun-filled adventure for both kids and adults! We prefer it in the autumm and around Halloween
Loved it, always wanted to come here, much more polite than Windsor
