The Italian Naval League is a public body in charge of services of public interest that operates under the supervision of the ministries of Defense and Transport and Navigation and under the high patronage of the President of the Republic.

It has the purpose of spreading in the Italian people, especially among young people, the love of the sea, the seafaring spirit and the knowledge of maritime problems, to the effects of citizens' participation in the development and progress of all forms of national activities who have their field and their means of action on the sea.

The Italian Naval League promotes the protection of the marine environment and inland waters and develops promotional, cultural, naturalistic, sports and educational initiatives suitable for achieving the aims of the association: it promotes and supports the practice of pleasure crafts and nautical activities.

The Italian Naval League also works in concert with central and peripheral public administrations, with the sports federations of the C.O.N.I. and foreign maritime naval leagues.

The Naval League of Naples works with passion to achieve a goal, above all: to spread love for the sea, in a city that has one of its most significant leitmotives in the sea.

All activities are aimed at enhancing the seafaring spirit, making knowledge of maritime problems widespread.

Today, the members of the Naval League of Naples are over 1,000 and the fleet of social sailing and motor boats reaches 80 units.

Excellent sailing and sailing school, where it is possible thanks to the instructors and their courses to reach the qualification to obtain a nautical license. The League also offers spaces for social gathering and places to meet, tell, compare and get to know each other, all in the spirit of friendship and passion for the sea.

Cozy restaurant overlooking the marina, polite and helpful staff, fresh catch of the day, excellent frying (paranza, anchovies and fried bass on everything), generous portions. We will definitely be back, highly recommended AAA +++.

At the time of enrollment I was not clearly informed about all the costs that I would have to face for the nautical license course.Here is a list of the costs I had to face:

For a total of 1065 without counting the bulletins and the medical examination

Therefore, I recommend that you pay attention at the time of registration because if like me you register in October and the course ends in the following year you will have to pay all these renewals if they are not paid you will not be able to participate in the exam that you have previously paid and booked. So you get to a total cost of about 1300 (counting the bulletins and the medical examination) cost that I consider excessive for the quality of the theoretical lessons, instead as regards the sailing lessons I can say that they are very valid.
