Nice environment with good security and friendly students really enjoy Leeds university student union

Probably the best union in the country with all the facilities available to students.

It has all what you need. A supermarket in the basment and some restaurants like humpit. Also, there are 2 coffee shops one at the bottom and thw other at the top. The coffee in the coop supermarket is 1 pound (cheaper)

Attended The Interrupters music concert in November 2018. Had a great time. Really like the venue set up. Stewarding was friendly and helpful.

This store is awesome, it has everything you need and a surprisingly large range for a convenience store. It has its own in store bakery, hot food, fresh fruit and veg, free-from, vegan, meal solutions and food to go! The staff are really helpful too and there is loads of fairtrade and ethical products.

A fantastic students union full of friendly and helpful staff! Their conferencing facilities are excellent and there are plenty of bars and shops in the building.

Visited on the open day. I can see why Leeds Uni has such a great reputation.

The food is not that good and it's expencive but the staff are nice and helpfull.

Decent food, a lot of entertainment, clean and modern building.

Good for food or having a pint in terrace or old bar. Good selection of other food options for lunch

Best way to upon load some exam stress! BOOZE and the uni also has a student friendly atmosphere

A lot of affordable food options here, such as Pyramid, as well as lots of space for events, drinking etc.

This is one of the best Union's in the UK. So many excellent events organised. Top quality touring bands, comedy shows and amazing term time Balls. Stylus is a superb gig venue. Really great sound and the layout of the room is perfect. Terrace is the perfect warm up bar at weekends with great DJs and music and midweek the food and outside seating area is great. Old Bar is also a really great old style pub type bar with quizzes and all sorts. So much to choose from!

Very good and great prices. Watched my granddaughter's graduation.

I like the Leeds University Union ..they are doing well and active..

The cashier makes me concern if she had a crazy night out or simply having difficulty to be friendly towards females

This is a well stocked Coop and has plenty of varieties of products including vegetarian and vegan foods as it caters for the student population.

Great dance in the Riley Smith hall with a Fabulous sound engineer too. And the coffe was great !!

Helpful staffs and cheerful environment. Plenty of food options available with low price.

All the things and stuff you need for uni life as a University of Leeds student.

The food reminds me of school, the sort of frozen processed gut rot you'd expect.

Very convenient for students who stay in the accommodation close to the student union.

It ads character to Leeds. And it's under construction for improvements

Delusional bouncers put an end to an otherwise great night

This review is of the pop up store in the University. they are meant to be a collection point for ebay parcels. I think the staff require "further training" or learn to do their Jon properly. they are constantly rejected parcels sent to the store for collection. If you are reading this - YOU ARE MEANT TO BE AN EBAY COLLECTION POINT - STOP REJECTING MY PARCELS.

Something for everyone. Incredibly active hub both during uni hours and outside of these.

The layout of venue was terrible and the staff & people were very stand offish & aloof!!!!

Leeds University union has changed beyond my wildest expectations since I last visited. I'm from the 1980 to 1996 generations and have witnessed some great changes, but not anywhere near my recent experience. I was looking for parking in the Tree Car Park, but it does not exist anymore. There is a huge new car park building and a new complex looking building with neon sign light name on it NEXUS sprawling the entire former Tree Car Park area to the UniPol student accommodation office.
The student Union has a new front foyer or lounge and for a moment makes you to wonder where has the old union gone? I was lost finding my way to the Funtion Hall, where the event I came for was taken place, but as soon as I descended the flight of steps, I found the lymbareth maize connecting the Old bar to a vast underground new complex student malls still reminiscent of the past generation.
Oh! How I wish to have a proper toure someday soon.

The venue is nice the security guy on the door was very professional.

Brilliant venue, where I saw The Nephilim. Not the race of biblical giants, luckily, that could have proved awful, what with them being bloodthirsty killers. The Nephilim I saw were the popular goth band, so much hilarity ensued. Oh, a fire alarm went off. Nobody was hurt. Good job it wasn't the biblical Nephilim, eh?

Loads of student services, retail shops and food outlets.

Great space, lovely staff, easily one of the best unions in the country.

Best student union in the country, period. Fantastic vibe and atmosphere, especially the Old Bar. There is a society for absolutely anything you can think of!

Great organisation for safety and covid prevention.
