Extremely disappointing (largely for the price paid) and the organization is worthy of a primary school student ... Many problems with host families (comrades were insulted) and the coordination of information between Paris and London are not top ...
I strongly recommend!

My daughter has just started today an internship near Cambridge (1 hour drive). Confirmation that she would be the only French woman living in a family (rather than 2) to at least benefit from a minimum of immersion: result; she is left with 3 of her compatriots in the neighboring rooms. I try to rectify by reminding Lec to his obligations. For the moment no answer.

I would never send my son again through the LEC organization. During his stay in the USA, he had a problem with his host family. Despite my calls for help, no one took the situation into account and deigned to take care of my son on the spot.

Destination chosen for my 2 children impossible and known at the last minute. Total dissatisfaction because refusal on the part of LEC, change their region and pay me back (he sends them to Wales, where the focus is terrible, perfect to learn English!)
All this the week before they leave.
Deception on the goods. Ashamed considering the price of the stays !!

My daughter who is now 17 years old has had three language courses with LEC one in England, one in Malta and one in Barcelona. Everything has always been very good. She always came back very happy and made a lot of progress in English and Spanish and made new friends. Really only positive!

If you apply, you send your CV, they never answer you but they publish new offers 2 months later, with the same missions. When they are called, they tell us, if you have not been answered, it is because you are not taken. But what a lack of humanity when they are likely to teach values to children.

Lousy! More than 2000 euros to go to a college in England: Abbey College. 5 children per room, no light in the toilets, it is the children themselves who have retrieved a bulb from the hallway to install it. No closure in the bathroom. A companion sent on the spot when arriving due to drunkenness, so while waiting for a replacement, non-compliance with the regulations regarding the number of accompanying persons per child. On the way back, leaving school at 7 a.m., arriving in Paris at 5 p.m., the children had neither to eat nor to drink! You call LEC in France, they are sorry but that's it!

A very good first language experience for my 13 year old son. Special mention for the visit of the Harry Potter studio!

Flight!

The meals were taken face to face between French, the hostess preferring to watch television. She only gave a little sandwich at noon, no bottle of water, result loan of 60 euros extra expenses per week to complete meals. The stay offered 3 afternoons of sports activities like badminton, ping pong, etc., none of this was proposed except a bowling on the last day. Only cultural visits have taken place, without guide or with audio phones in French, shabby ... The courses were correct although recite the alphabet to students Terminale, is limited. Nothing was proposed in relation to the terminal program. It was planned 2 oral and white bins, nothing was done. In short, theft, all teens came back disappointed. I called in the week LEC and that I was answered, we go up madame !!! no solution proposed .... not to recommend especially ...

Very disappointed with the trip. The program announced on the site is not respected. Give students time to rest (with a time difference of one hour but they are still children). Adults threaten children. French animators are uncomfortable and barely make the effort to speak English for some. The free time that is supposed to be 1h free time per day is not respected. Children are forced to do the activities. My children came back exhausted from the trip. Adults refuse that children socialize with other foreigners and so finally speak a little English of the stay. Meals are always disgusting the same menus. Adults take for themselves and are haughty. Children are supposed to be on vacation and so enjoy and rest a minimum. Big liars all over the place, the children have discovered very little London and I repeat myself again but almost nothing of the program announced on the site of LEC is respected. Very expensive for what it is !!!!!

I have a stay with Lec in England that's why I give my opinion rather negative because the organization was poorly made. The information between Paris and England is not always clear. Activities that are not worth paying 2000 for stays as well as uninspiring courses. I am very disappointed and strongly advise to review several very poor point. The quality / price level was clearly unsatisfactory

Not recommended, no seriousness, they love to put their pockets in the first place. If you have money to waste, go for it ...

Very disappointed
To begin the program of the stay announced on the site is not respected. The courses are very irrelevant except those with the French teacher. No "free time". The unpleasant French animators. We speak very little English. The only moments are when we talk with traders during outings. We are forced to do activities (very uninteresting) that do not even serve to develop the practice of English. Adults oppose socialization with other people on the foreign campus. These are the only times when you can practice English properly. Meals are disasters. Unmatched menus, uncooked potatoes at every meal, unwashed salad, sausages full of fat, oil-soaked pasta, dubious mashed potatoes and portions are very minimal. The water is very limited there are only two carafes of water for 50 children. The water can come warm to see hot.

to avoid absolutely! host family not controlled, teachers not level, in short a general laxity quite disturbing for people to whom you entrust your children

Excellent first time for our daughter in Ireland. Exceptional host family, Course at the height, a very good upgrade before attacking high school. Nothing to say about the organization of the stay by this organization. Experience to renew.

I have worked with this company and would strongly discourage teachers and parents from doing so.

It is a very good organization. My daughter left with them in July 2017 and my son in August 2018, both to Great Britain. High quality of organization, with an organized departure from Lyon and therefore, no need for parents to travel to Paris. Very caring host families.

After a chaotic departure organization (the "responsible" did not even have a stabilo to point the children present ...), I feared the worst, and it is the worst that happens ...
This is the 2nd day of the "club 4" stay of my daughter and her friend, both aged 15 and 16 years old.
During the visit of Nottingham Castle, their "companion" lost sight of them. The girls had to call him for a new RV point. After an hour, they called her back, and she left with the rest of the group (2 other teens). she told them to "get by and take the bus back" !!!! they knew neither the city nor mastered the language ...
Today, LEC tells me that it is the fault of children who have not understood and are not responsible; No possibility to change the escort, let alone excuse ... just the cashing of your money (more than 2000E)
To my question "what would it be like if they had assaulted or had an accident"? the answer of the so-called responsible for the pbs during the stay retorted to me "I do not know, I'm not diviner"! neither visibly competent.
Even the accompanist I contacted told me to go see a shrink! In short, do not register your child in this organization that is well established. For my part, my daughters were for 5 years in colo Camp Beaumont, and I never had to complain about it. I wanted to try something else ... badly took me.

Nothing to say: nice stay with an English family with daily lessons. To recommend

Insufficient supervision of children - the best activity offered to children is to leave them free to do what they want in the evening - A multisport stay that comes down to ... football and rugby ... it's true multi starts at 2 ... between the commercial presentation based on "examples" and reality, the chasm is wide. At this price, we have the right to hope for better. For information LEC accepts complaints only by registered mail .... Is this a way to refrain them?

Nice trip to Germany in the Berlin region, to do it again next year !!

My 2 sons went with LEC to several years in a row, it went well for 2. In the end great progress in September and memories for a long time. I recommend this organization.

We cross our fingers for the one in Germany if not for next year we will see elsewhere
