Jay at Christian Aero is absolutely amazing every time I fly in. Will bend over backwards for you. Left two little wooden planes for my two kids before we left after hours. Tower guys are also great. Love flying here!
Unless you live in Hobbs I would avoid flying in to this airport for one reason. The rental car service is terrible. If you don't reserve a car you won't have a chance and if you do reserve one, they might give it away anyway. The town has no taxi or Uber type service either. So do yourself a favor and fly into a bigger city and make the hour whatever drive to Hobbs if you have to go there.

Under renovation right now .looks like some new and exciting changes are happening.
Best airport in Lea County. I fly in and out frequently. The airport crew is super friendly for being up so early on a Saturday......the only flight out. Ugh.

Great little airport with service to Houston and now Denver... it s very exciting to have more options of direct flights from Hobbs. I have no complaints... Plus the free parking is a nice perk.
A small regional airport. No need to arrive early . No one is at the counter until 1 1/2 hours before your scheduled flight. TSA screening starts 1 hour before the flight. No food or vending except by the gate, but there is free coffee. There is only 1 gate.
always efficient and kind- my last flight I showed up an hour before departure and the place was very full; regardless we were in and through TSA fairly quickly, even leaving a little bit earlier. Excellent customer service and always reliable. Only con is the vending machine with beverages is always hit or miss.
