Had a really lovely meal here for a 100th birthday. The restaurant was beautiful, the service was incredible and the food was delicious. Would recommend it to anyone.

What a lovely time we had. The service and food was exquisite.

Excellent Sunday lunch, well presented, I particularly liked the smoked salmon croquettes where there was more salmon than potato not the other way round. The location was beautiful with water running by. The staff were attentive and welcoming. We will be going back.

Beautiful setting complimented by attentive staff and quite superb food. We shall definitely be back.

It's rare I rate something as good as this. Staff were very friendly and attentive. No snobbery. (went on a Sunday)

Lovely location beside the river and currently feels very covid safe. Beautiful old building and laid out with plenty of space between diners. The service is fast and attentive but not overbearing. The food was all of the highest quality. Presentation was spectacular and the flavours were exquisite. The Venison was superb and cooked pink to deliver a hefty burst of flavour. The iced honeycomb parfait was one of the tastiest desserts I've eaten. Highly recommended

Excellent food. Lovely setting, good service.......... Possibly a trifle expensive in my opinion. Thus the 4 star rating.
