Good school, good people, some theft. The high and middle schoolers never mix, completely dif. schedual

English and Physics Teachers need to chill with marking, or at least teach us what they will be marking for

LDH is a great school for middle and high. Great school for extra curricular activities. The thing to know is that they replaced school buses with OCTranspo buses which means you have to go to school even in snow days.

I don t want to dock the rating, but I want to complain that washrooms do get messy caused by the morons. Credit to the custodians for cleaning each day, except that they don t fix the hand dryers and refill the soap whenever possible to do so. I also want to complain that whenever fire alarms evacuate us out of the building in -20 weathers, I got sick one time because I had to evacuate without my jacket on. I understand that there could be worst case scenario like that, but I do appreciate there is never a drill during these consequences.

This is overall a great school! Most of the teachers are very nice and teaches well. However it is not a full 5 star because the organization is pretty bad. However, it is getting better so no worries. 2 years ago from 2014, I would rate it as a 3 out of 5 but now it is a 4 out of 5.

Grade 7 was good but that was only because i had a good teacher otherwise. It's an overcrowed school, with students getting half lockers. Grade 8 was even worse more overcrowding also more portables. Teachers don't care if you get hurt (unless your like going to die) Teachers don't give all your work back too you. Some teachers are not role models at all most of them in the gym

Such a good school. The good teachers are super funny and make the long day enjoyable.

This is at a walking distance from my home, and we have not heard any problems about it which is relatively good.

This school was awful in 2009-2011. Really hope it has improved since I attended. Even as one of the first students to walk in those hallways as a brand new school when it was only grade 7, 8, and 9, it was a horrible experience. Barb Troutman (and her brother Doug!!! I loved him) and Dennis Pare were there for more than a paycheque so that was a memorable experience. I hope they are well. Most of the students were dealing drugs in the hallways though. And probably still do.

Please ignore the many reviews published below me written by some of the students. They are immature.This is in fact a fantastic school.

The atrium, and the auditorium is among the most poshest areas in the school, or possibly in the board. Clean, and sophisticated environment - it is visible that the staff have an idea on what they are doing.

Outdoor recreational area is large. Great area for children to get involved in sports. For secondary students, many specializes courses are included that are widely connected to several post secondary institutions. Many representatives from various colleges and universities also come in to discuss the effectivity of their programs, and even answer some of the questions students may have about the institution.

You must be wondering... what is the con? The cafeteria requires some attention. For a school with a sprawling population, many of the children need to be taught to respect the facility. Also. Some vile language can often be heard while touring the hallways. This is not too much too blame. It's a high school!

Many, many people, some teachers don't care or don't respect you and the caf is not very nice... The new intermediate wing is great but washrooms aren't taken care of at all.

It's a Really nice building and most of the students are nice but there are some very sexist and biased teachers

It also has an amazing sports program for students with any body type since they try so many new sports throughout the year (e.g. frisbee golf, cricket, ping pong, etc...)

HORRIBLE Guidance staff; super disorganized and repeatedly use the large school enrollment as an excuse for their poor performance (not to mention very rude)

This school is extremely disorganized and the staff in the office are extremely rude. Called them asking for information and the person on the phone said she was 'new' and didn't know and ended the conversation. I don't believe the staff actually care for the children at the school. Even when speaking to them in person, they are rude. All in all, the staff representing the school do a poor job.

Horrible school, pathetic teachers and a bunch of arrogant kids. Don't send your child to this place unless you wish they were aborted.
