Lazy Boyz Cafe Review

This place is one of the best places to go to if you want a decent serve with exactly what you want in it as well as being all fresh ingredients!
The service here by the staff is wonderful. They always make you feel like there s nothing that is too much trouble for them. Extremely clean and comfortable with tables for 2 or a large group of people. There can be a short wait to obtain a table because their are so popular but it s worth the wait! Due to Covid, the staff are picking your ingredients for you and to limit crowding there can be a short wait to go up and choose your Ingredients. If you want good food and service sit back and relax and wait your turn otherwise head to maccas drive thru! You can also order for pick up through UberEats so get on it!!

Here's my 2 cents for the people who have been waiting for my review on Lazy Boy Hot Pot Mawson Lakes! This place has been on my to-go list for the past week and I regret that I hadn't gone sooner.

So to start things off, I decided to review the place around 12pm on a Sunday, it was very easy to navigate and find a park on the street. For those catching public transport It's about 5-10 minutes walk from the Mawson Lakes train station.

Outside view of the place makes it look quite small however when you enter the building the design is quite forgiving making it spacious. 6'fters won't need to worry about leg space.

If you have never been to this place you will be guided by a staff member from the counter who guide you through picking the potential ingredients you might like.

Cutting things short, staff were friendly, food came quickly and the temperature of the broth was hot but warm enough to drink!

Honestly haven't had a meal close to perfection as this, it gives you alot of satisfaction knowing that you have chosen those ingredients, you can always mix and match to gain a different tasting experience.

Here's what I got:

8 pieces of beef
Hokkien noodles
6 pork and chives dumplings
Spinach
Bok choi
Snowpeas
Beansprouts
Baby corn

Got the Soup over the Stir Fry
Malatang Hot and Spicy Sauce: but Low level of hotness

It weighed around 800grams

This was shared between two and we were full AF!

My wife and I heard about Lazy Boy Hot Pot through some friends and were intrigued by the way food is served there. Basically you pick your meats and then you have a huge array of fresh food to choose from, anything from oyster mushrooms to prawn dumplings, fresh vegetables and many foods that I d never even heard of! You can then choose to have that as a hot pot or stir fry! Great food and great atmosphere - we will be back 100%

We have been wanting to try this place for a long time because we are big fans of hotpot and Lazy Boy did not disappoint! A great selection of ingredients to choose from, including many meat and vegetarian options. 3 types of broth including one vegetarian. And you can choose your spice level. There was a bit of a wait for those who wanted to dine in but they also offer takeaway as well. I was very excited to be able to try soju for the first time even though it is quite expensive (but this is no way related to the restaurant- it s just expensive to buy in Australia in general).

Great fresh ingredients combined to produce a huge bowl of tasty, and spicy as you like, soup. Very filling. Staff friendly and helpful esp if your first visit

Two thumbs up. Need to have another branch in easy to access location for others to try on.

Highly recommended... Stir fry dishes was the winner.. Took me 25 min drive to get there and its worth it.. well priced.. friendly staff...

This is a must do food experience. I was impressed beyond words. And flavour wow.
