They did resolve my debt, BUT they took a very big chunk for themselves! They are doing themselves more of a favor then you. The customer service reps were always very nice and professional.

I'll start by saying they have a great website, always available when I call, questions always answered. Someone from the office calls to tell me when they're is an update to my account. That's all the good things.

The bad: I enrolled about 6500 in CC debt. They guy told me that they'd be able to settle in about 2 years, for about $4,500. SWEET. He also told me that there would a a decline in my credit score, but then it would come back up. I was at about 720 credit score, but I had been carrying the debt for 5 years and never able to pay it down significantly. He told me not to make any payments on my cards while it was in negotiation. So I didn't. My credit score dropped to 550, and 3 years later it still hasn't risen to previous level. Overall, by the time I'm done in 2023, I'll have paid over $8500, suffered through 4 years of horrible credit scores, and paid WAAY over what was originally enrolled, for twice a long as was quoted when I signed up. It is what it is, but ill be more than happy to end this business relationship with Geitmeid.

They are so dishonest with fake attorneys. Nothing but a store front of gitmead and law. Scammed. Beware. Do not give them your information. I reported them to BBB. Attorney General as well as my attorney. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM

Gave final payment. Got hit with over 350 in early payoff fees. They took their fees and still have not paid the remaining balances. Their trying to say the have to contact the credit card company to see if they would except a lump sum payment. I will tell you that the credit card company's already agreed to settlement amount. Which company would not take a lump sum over waiting payments.....just another way to CHEAT you.

Unfortunately, I have to give at least one star even though they are not deserving of that. There is so much they do not tell you about this process. This process saves you no money whatsoever and runs your credit through the dirt! Between the fees they end up taking for themselves, and the government coming after you to pay taxes on the balances that were written off, you end up paying more than what you owed in the first place. And with the delinquencies and charge offs/settlements on your credit report, you can forget about applying for any home, car, or business loans for several years. This was the worst financial decision I ever made and I wish I had known then what I know now about debt and credit repair. If you are considering hiring these scam artists, please just do some research instead. You can fix this on your own.

A blessing in my time of need. Even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic they set my mind at ease and did everything possible to reduce my debts with the most easy and affordable monthly payment for my low income salary. I highly recommend Gitmeid for all and any of your debt consolidation needs. God willing I am debt free end of this year!
