Don't hire this attorney. It is useless you never feel represented by a lawyer, they ignore you, they do not allow you a brief conversation ... after having made your first payment they ignore you, they never visit the person who has the problem, they lie to you every time they do so Calls never answers .. anyway I felt that I paid to have one more problem due to his lack of professional ethics ... a public defender can help you more than this inept one. I thought that I was hiring a good lawyer for the amount that I paid, but in my home I learned what "lawyers" really are.

Terrible I said lawyer, their office workers are disrespectful, especially Nataly and Neraly, you talk to them and they sigh in your ear, letting you understand that they don't want to listen to you. This shoddy little license who thinks he's super pre-potent doesn't give you the opportunities to meet him. Accessible payments! Pure lies, you will have his secretaries harassing you weekly and until you pay in full the lawyer does not lift a finger. You call the office, hello, good afternoon, Mr. So-and-so speaks to him and they think to sigh, you ask him about your case, they never know anything, they only answer! The file has not arrived. The lawyer then I feel totally disappointed and deceived, of the only 2 times that I had access to him in the last one he offered me an agreement that I reached with the prosecution after 1 year and 5 months x a dui with 0% alcohol which was I was done 2 times by the officer who stopped me for his reasons, obviously he had been working for more than 18 hours (2 @ m at 7 pm in the direction of my house he did all the test he knew and had in his hands I walked the yellow line and then again Already in that one false step and he put me under arrest, I offered myself which was not mandatory to give urine test but unfortunately I take controlled medications which were of no use bringing the medical prescription and the pharmacy history but it did not help at all, Well, graduate, there are problems, the only thing is that I am a family man, the only one who generated money (because I lost my job because of this) to make a long story short, the lawyer offers me a 30-day jail agreement which does not it was easy for nadi eo 1 year on probation suspended license x 1 year machinery for my vehicle garment x breath (at my cost) 50 he community 70 dollars per month 40 dollars monthly drug tests payment to the prosecution and 100 dollars x the investigation of the officer Well, graduate, I prefer 30 days in jail with pain in the gun, ok, it will be said by the lawyer. I get a letter where you want a virtual court on April 15, 2021 highlighted by any of these secretaries and trial or sentence on Monday, April 19, 2021. I call on the 14th at 4:47 pm and the secretary Nerali tells me that I have to go the next day and try to go with white clothes, I mean ready to go to jail, he even told me that the lawyer was not going to be present that he only presented me to the front building they would take my fingerprints and go inside. The next day without being fully prepared since I thought it would be Monday the 19th because I get up as usual at 7 a.m. eating to get ready to finish things collected in my house etc. This lady never told me the exact time that I should be there and at 8:47 am she calls my wife that I had to be there at 9 a.m. In that office, imagine yourself running, he runs and runs when I arrive I see the lawyer from afar and he lies to me again saying that I have an arrest warrant. Everyone is very kind and when it is my turn they tell me that I had a probation with everything mentioned when I don't even drink alcohol and that the attorney made a motion to withdraw from the case. What happened, what did he do yet I do not know, it would be x the delay x the bad information of his secretary but I say I did not have the vocation of the lawyer to ask the honorable judge to go to the next case and call me to see if something happened to me in the way. Well, not only did he decide to drop the case and practically get thousands of dollars from me that easy and if I continue I won't finish. So my best recommendation is do not hire him, they will remember me, imagine a lawyer like this only has 3 stars, I feel cheated and cheated.

Worst experience ever!!! Gave me false hope on obtaining my sons parental rights I paid them and now want to tell me that the biological fathers rights can't be terminated. They don't want to refund my money when the secretary Natalie assured me that I could obtain the rights without having to go threw with an adoption.

Well, I wrote a review a few months back on Mr. Colon and how he was doing on my family members' case. I was worried that since he was appointed by the state, that maybe my family member would not get his full attention.
I am here to tell you that all my worrying and phone calls to the firm were for nothing. Mr. Colon went above and beyond for my family member. He kind of kept me in the dark about the progress he was making. But he did not have to answer to me. He puts to shame all those wannabe lawyers at the Public Defenders Office. He did, as an appointed lawyer, the best job, and the best outcome for everyone involved. He truly defended my family member as if she had a retainer on him. Thank you Mr. Colon for seeing through the States blown up charges and seeing the truth. And for getting a punishment that fit the crime, not the lies the state was harping on.

Unprepared, lack of communication, lack of responsiveness: Of these, lack of preparation for court hearings and for meetings with me was the one area at which Colon completely bombed. He claimed too much caseload. I wouldn't hire this incompetent again for anything. Colon is little more than a glorified secretary.

In 2008, I was referred to Stacey McNelis through a military lawyer referral program at Fort Shafter, HI. I explained my situation to Ms. McNelis and gave me legal advice that I followed exactly, which caused me to lose custody of my son for two years. I hired her immediately after an emergency motion was filed against me in Polk County. At the hearing, she allowed the judge to threaten kidnapping charges against me without speaking up to tell the judge that she was the one who told me I could legally pick up my son the way I did. For a year, I worked with Ms. McNelis from Hawaii, in a completely different time zone. She constantly charged me full rates (in ten minute increments) for voicemails I would have to leave and emails due to the time difference. Her assistant at the time, Yesenia, was very helpful but I normally spoke with her and got charged just to turn around and have to speak with Ms. McNelis and get charged again. After paying her over $7,000, a year later, with no movement on my case, I terminated her services and hired another attorney. Within a year, I was at a final hearing and was awarded custody of my son again. After my hearing, I contacted Ms. McNelis and asked her to refund half of my fees for her overcharging me and not being able to progress on my case. She refused. I am still active duty Army, and aside from the money I wasted on her services (or lack thereof), my son still deals with emotional scarring because he was forced to remain in an unsafe home due to Ms. McNelis initial failures through her unsound legal advice.

My name is Abel Fragoso. I hired Gil Colon. Waste of money. Waste of Time. The worst lawyer in the world. If i could give a zero star i would.
My family and i, told him my case was a domestic violence. He said yes but after he had the money he said, I do not know if i can take this case because i have daughters of my own, it is wrong what you did. I told him it was a DV case, i told him the full story and i told him i was innocent when we first spoke.
Please do not hire him. He will steal your money and not do anything.
