Lava Room Recording, (Buchanan Recording Complex) Review

Lava Room Recording has a dedicated, knowledgeable staff with MANY years of pro recording experience. Their new studio space looks and sounds absolutely incredible!

Past summer I had taken a tour here to get a feel for the studio and I must say it is very nice and well kept. I recently went to record here this past week, my first time working with Lava Room, and my experience went better than what I had thought.

This was my first time ever at Lava Recording Studios and I felt very comfortable.

I went to The Lava Room in January and February to record my third album. I worked with Mike while I was there, and let me just say that this was the BEST studio I ve ever worked in. Not only was Mike extremely professional, but he made me very comfortable and never ran over my ideas. He worked with me on what I wanted my sound to be for this album and was great to bounce ideas off of as well as contribute amazing ones! The Lava Room was very clean and had plenty of amps and equipment to choose from. Everything was done in a timely and efficient manner, AND Mike had developed a schedule that was very easy to follow! I am beyond THRILLED with the sound quality and how my songs have come together. I will definitely be coming back to The Lava Room for my additional music needs! I HIGHLY recommend this studio and the wonderfully talented people that work in it.

When we first came to Lava Room we were unsure about the process and the intricacies that went into recording at a legitimate studio. Mike at Lava Room put us at ease and helped us step by step to get the best product we could possibly get without wasting our time or our money. As we went through the steps of tracking instruments, vocals, and later leveling and mixing; we were made part or the process every step of the way and were lucky to have the crew at lava room there to help work with us and explain in detail for any questions we had. No doubt we will be returning to Lava Room in the near future and recommend them for any solo artist, band, hip hop artist, or any other style to try them out next time they're looking to record. Lava Room Recording is the best studio in Ohio!

Been recording with Mike for quite a bit now, It's nice to work with a producer who understands where you want to go with your music. The environment is great and definitely fuels creativity.

Lava Room Studios is one of the best studios I've ever recorded in. The staff is experienced, professional, and easy to work with. Almost all my songs receive radio airplay, and that is a direct result of Chris Ebbert being an exceptional engineer and co-producer. If you want the best result with your projects, Lava Room is where you want to record.

Mike Pfaff is a God among recording engineers. The hair and technical expertise of a young Paul Hamann, with the mustache of Skunk Baxter.

I ve been recording here since 2016 when they were located in midtown. This is literally the only place I record these days. It s always easy to get in touch with someone to book a session. Every engineer I ve ever worked with has produced a high quality recording and I ve never been disappointed in the final product. I plan on booking some more studio time in the near future.

My band s been working on a project the past couple months here, and we have to say everything is top notch! Every single person is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! The atmosphere is very relaxed but still professional. The prices are reasonable and we haven t had any problems with quality or professionalism whatsoever. All in all, I highly recommend Lava Room Recordings!

I record here often. This is by far my favorite studio. All the equipment for ANY type of recording is on hand. Engineers are top of the line & they re great people to work with. Kitchen & lounge area included, so once you get there lock in & do your thing. I ll be back soon, don t meet me there, BEAT ME THERE!

Love this studio. The gear is phenomenal and the staff is amazing. If you want the best of the best this is where you need to record. Hands down other cleveland studios can't hold a candle to this kind of awesome.
