I found the most beautiful puppy I have ever seen. Lorraine was very nice to me throughout the process and gave me some tips on what brands to buy that I have been using since. The only con was the high price tag. The dog hasn t left my side since I got her and is the biggest sweetheart.
I enjoy this store for the sole purpose that the puppies are well socialized. It totally brightens my day that I can walk in and pet 5-6 puppies, most stores don t let you do that and I really appreciate that aspect.
They were very rude and extremely expensive. Their most inexpensive dog is 1500. In addition they are all prebreed. Meaning often they are bred with their family members and relatives to achieve the particular apperance for said breed. I would never give them my business again.
I have been here several times, and donated newspaper in the past. Unbelievable a place like this can stay open with the treatment they give to their animals. The owners responses to other reviews are very unprofessional and rude, to be expected from a business like this. The laurel mall should be ashamed having a business like this.
never support this place it has multiple dogs in a 3x3 gate with no food or water. This place is cruel to its animals and its unacceptable i wish i can rate it lower than 1 star
Very poor customer service walked in there for the 1st time seen a Puppy I thought my wife would like so I took a picture and The girl that's working there with Orange hair started telling me no pictures can't take pictures of the dogs why they are in their pens I just want to take a picture to send to my wife to see if it would be something she's interested in I'll take my business elsewhere. I think those employees need a lesson in professionalism. Then again it is just a pet store.
I visited the store a week ago just to browse. I have been thinking about purchasing a kitten and asked the manager how much they were. She explained to me that the kittens ranged from $30-$100 dollars. I left the store to think about it and tonight my husband and I decided that if the kitten we wanted was still there, we would take him home tonight. I got to the store and the kitten I wanted was still there, but the employees informed me that all of the kittens were now $150. When I told them the manager had given me a different price a few days earlier, she said that s weird and didn t offer any further help/assistance. The staff wasn t particularly rude, just not helpful and confused. I am disappointed as I wanted to take a kitten home tonight and the kittens are suffering an injustice by being stuck there because the staff can t agree with a fair price :(
I got my sweet Czar from them 3 weeks ago. Great experience with the manager and staff. Our dog is absolutely wonderful.
We got our handsome boy Oberon from this store. The owner was AMAZING! So knowledgable and genuinely cares about not only the puppies but the owners. Our boy had an issue medically when we brought him home and she was quick to start the ball rolling to help reimburse the expenses. It breaks my heart to see all these negative reviews which actually only go to hurt ththe chances of these puppies finding loving homes. I am glad I ignored them and went with my gut about this store and its employees. People they are puppies...they will get messy...they will act up...its not mistreatment when you see the staff there caring for them and helping them. Dont be bitter cuz you wanted a purebred dog at a rescue price. Please if you have the money purchase a puppy and give them a good home. Those that dont have them money for these PUREBREDS please adopt and give them a good home! Oberon and his mommy thanks you!!
Overprised animals. These poor dogs and kittens will never find a home.
I can't deny that this place has a selection of beautiful dogs, but you can tell that they aren't taken care of properly. It's absolutely heartbreaking. They need to downsize on the amount of animals they have so they have the time and space to give them the proper care they need, or lower the prices so that people can actually afford to take an animal home. I am all for adopting from shelters, but it hurts knowing that some of these animals might not find loving homes.... and who knows where they will end up.
I couldnt figure out how to respond to the owner, so im adding to my initial review.
First and foremost, ive been at your store NUMEROUS times. Im not trying to say you, or your staff dont love the animals. If you are going to charge over a thousand dollars for a dog, that dog should be in tip top condition. I fell in love with a dog there, but she was horribly matted and looked like shes never been bathed. How are you going to charge someone $1500 for a poor little puppy that looks like she's been out in the streets? You and your staff may be "animal lovers" but that really doesn't show, all things considered.
I will never ever reccomend them. Puppies are overpriced for the care they are receiving. If you want a specific breed you can go to a private breeder for way less. The manager/owner is also very rude. Please think twice about shopping here.
The responses from the owner are extremely unprofessional and are not a good way to keep a place in business. Or keep a job for that matter.
I went here with my husband and his best friend we came in to see all the cute animals and as we were looking around one of the employees came over and sprayed febreeze right above like only month old puppies we then relized that one of the puppies started horribly coughing and hyperventilating and gaging probally because of the spray. I then told one of the employees that the puppy didnt sound or look good and she gave me pure attitude and told me 'he was fine'. He was not fine you dont spray febreze over top of any animal it is toxic to them I also a while back bought two hamsters from them which first off were at horrible prices and were in a tank with a very agressive mother hamster. They even misgendered the one baby hamster. I brought them home and not 3 months later lost the one hamster due to a respiratory issues which. Do not shop here their puppies look horrible and skinny and stressed out. Please dont shop here ever!
The employees are so lucky that I didn't pull out my phone to make a report, and record the dogs that are being abused.
Physically your store Is abusing those dogs. You can't tell me otherwise. This store was terminated once, and it will be taken down again I promise.
Dogs whimper, paw, and cry but the pain, and fear In their cries just shows how this business mistreats these dogs. "The dogs are happy" as you say, Are you serious? Do you walk those dogs? Do they ever see light, and get fresh air? Can they play with toys in their cages? There's literally NO ROOM. Not to mention overpricing those dogs. ABUSE. If someone tells me I can't record I will laugh in there face. Humane society will be involved. Your reviews show how poor this business is and careless. Send those dogs to a shelter where they will actually be taken care of or I will have someone come In and expose this business.
Very rude customer service. They dont seem to have compassion or patience for the puppies. Puppies seem anxious and are scolded for acting like puppies.
If I could give the company a lower star it would be done. Lorain was NICE enough to show us the puppies at the store and was so egar for us to buy that we put a security deposit down. Later we did our research and found MUCH cheaper puppies on Lancasterpuppies.com which come with EVERYTHING THEY NEED for 1/3 the price!!! During a time of COVID this lady decided to not return us our SECURITY DEPOSIT. And rushed us through the paperwork, and did NOT MENTION IN PERSON when we said we would put a deposit down bcs it was NEEDED, that we would get it back if something were to happen. They CLEARLY care more about money then they do about getting these puppies a forever HOME. They also recently took out a huge loan for the business yet can t return someone their security deposit, that clearly needs it more than them. Maybe if they lowered their prices and were more polite, they would have better service.FAKE TO GET THE MONEEEEY!
I went to that store once..when it first open... why people are commenting so much negative coments.. when I went there all the animals was fine for me, and the manager was talking to me about them ... I want to visit that store again and I want a kitten.
Bought my Frenchton from here. She s in good health and the owner was knowledgeable and genuinely cares about the animals.
I am beyond disgusted with this place. It should be shut down.
ADOPT DON T SHOP!
Been in the store a couple times. 2 things I noticed were the prices are ridiculous. And the animals dont always look to healthy
Rude workers, prices are shameful! Puppies 9 months old and $1000 ....mixed breeds you would find at the shelter, disgraceful!!
rude employees if you say something they don't like or agree with get ready to get bashed. also they make the news paper twice in a week for selling sick puppies not giving a care in the world for the people who purchased them for over $2,000 and not following the puppy lemon law and buying from a breeder In violation of laws. Keeping dogs in the cages for months because most people are smart enough not to pay $2,000 for a 6 month old dog.not something you should be proud of.
This is an absolutely terrible place! We got our husky puppy form here and he was so sick! We have had him for 6 months and he has been to see the vet 4 times (this does not include all the times we had to call about issues or pick up medications!) They were supposed to help us with him, but instead they just dragged us along for 4 months!! They are terrible at communicating they will say they want to help the pup but won't do anything further! This store should not remain open!! Also their facebook page seems to be deleted! I am very sure this is because of all the negative reviews everyone left since they opened! I wish I would have read them so I knew what I was getting myself into!!
I bought a kitten from here a couple weeks ago. Within the first week we found out she had tapeworms, a ring worm fungal infection all over, and an upper respiratory tract infection. I ve already had to pay so much money in vet bills because of this. This includes having to pay for expensive medications for my other three animals due to ringworm being contagious. Technically I could demand payment for this due to the PA Lemon Law on kittens, but I don t want to even come to this place ever again or talk to these people. I feel so bad for the rest of these animals living in these conditions.
Absolutely terrible, everything about it. The employees are rude and careless, it is very obvious that the dogs are not properly taken care of. The last time I was there a dog jumped out of the cage and was leaving the store and no employees even noticed until i picked him up. I also confronted a lady about rumors (with pictures!!!) of a dead dog in dumpster and she then showed me a photo on her phone of a completely different dog and told me look this is the dog not in the trash, he was sold . And after asked about the one in the trash she told me to leave and called security on me...
Please do not purchase puppies/kitties from here. They are not taken care of and all come from a puppy mill. Please educate yourself before giving these WORTHLESS humans your money!
Went in there a while back for the first time. Was so excited to play with the animals and when I walked in. All the animals just laid there. There was a larger dog that was in a playpen on the ground that just seemed afraid of me. I kept trying to calmly talk to him. He came over once let me pet him then was scared again like something was going to happen to him. I was also able to see this dogs ribs. While being a health nut for my dog and getting proper feeding regiments from her vet, I know that this dog was way too skinny. Never had this happen at a pet store before. (Or even with animals) Usually pups are jumping around and making a bunch of cute little noises. But this place was silent with the animals. I was hoping to purchase a dog there with them that day. Figured maybe a place out of my area would have the dog I wanted. As far as the dogs there. I was half tempted to buy every single one of them and find them homes because they should not be living this way!
Also when I was standing there a lady came out from the back and started yelling YOU BETTER NOT BE TAKING PHOTOS she was talking to someone else on there, not me. But this poor girl looked so confused and responded with I wasn t. Her phone wasn t even out. Not sure what this places deal is with taking photos of their animals but if there s something wrong at a place that I own I wouldn t want there to be any evidence either. Just saying
And I m sorry but I ve read some of these reviews and if you re the owner, how do you respond to these reviews like that. I mean yea I would be angry about getting bad reviews too but you don t treat people the way you have. You want to own a business that hasn t seemed suitable for animals to a lot of people, then this is what you get. Owners don t backlash and make fun of people for not having Money to pay for your sick animals. How dare you ever call yourself an owner or a manager!
The sell sick animals and neglect them horrendously. Some die while in their care and they just toss them in the trash with no care
DO NOT BUY A DOG HERE! Go
Somewhere else. Seriously! I ve been visiting to look at puppies and what I saw is egregious. These dogs are not healthy what so ever! I m beginning to take some action against this puppy mill because that s exactly what this place is. It will take time but this place will NEVER SELL another sick dog again. By the way, employees need to talk more quietly. Got quality video of what s happening there and it will end. These puppies deserve a chance at life. A healthy life! ADOPT DON T SHOP!
I think you should put the price a little down is too high for a pet to be over 1000 dollars
employees are rude and mean to comments like aw you poor things, no compassion for customers and their animals. have them locked up in cages until they are sold and the pups cant find homes because of the price (2,000+ on average) they charge for a dog is insane and the reason why many are over 6 months of age.
I recently went here to look at puppies, and there was a puppy that very obviously needed lots of care, because of its wrinkles and drooling, which is normal for that type of pup. However, this poor baby hand crust under its neck and in between his wrinkles, as well as crust all over his eyes. I truly hope the next time I check on this sweet baby, he looks better..
