I love working with Laurel! Such a great company to partner with!
We've had the good fortune of working with The Laurels for over 10 years. The Laurel Way of Caring continues to be a blessing to so many families. I've seen some amazing acts of kindness along with the compassion & caring that these SUPER HEROS perform on a daily basis! We are so blessed to be part of your team!
I have visited several Laurel Healthcare facilities in search of a retirement home for a family member, they all were well maintained and had caring staff and management.
Husband was at Walden Park and Worthington. Absolutely horrible. "Wanderers" go around insulting you, urine all over bathroom that you have to clean up. Dietary choices are appalling.
Saw individuals without support people laughed at, wiped w urine soaked gowns without being changed and even put back into wheelchairs that were smeared with their fecies and left for hours. This was witnessed by paramedic. Waited over 5 hours to get paramedic when he had to go to ER and were insulting even then. Other health and care concerns. Sharps container completely over flowing onto floor for days. Also ignored or refused to honor Medical POA and didn't or outright refused to talk to me. These issues were discussed numerous times both in care conference and w center management, but most were never corrected.
When he was rushed back to ER, over $300 of his stuff disappeared.
Please.. take your loved ones elsewhere. Waiting for ombudsman now
Not a very responsible place in regards to the elderly! Be careful with there nursing homes. My mother fell in her room at the Laurel's of Defiance. Her Big toe had her toenail completely over the toe because lack of care. If you have love one's in their care. Review everything, because they are lacking the help needed to do the care we expect. Regards, Dale Sulser
I am so thankful to work for this outstanding company. I've been fortunate to learn and to grow in many different positions throughout my college career and I eventually completed my final internship in long-term care administration at the Laurels of Gahanna and am now at The Laurels of Walden Park. I am very passionate about this industry and all my friends and colleagues know it! <3
Our family member is in one of the facilities and dining options are (0) ZERO. Being an elderly person that may have dietary issues or physical issues, should have more than a hot dog for dinner.
The professionals that I have collaborated with professionally at Laurel Health are always incredibly competent & kind. They are excellent partners and great to work with. I look forward to continuing to partner with them in the future.
After relocating over 2300 miles, I was welcomed to Laurel healthcare as a Director of Social Services. I have been at the Hilliard location for more than 2 years now and feel blessed that I work with some amazing, knowledgable and caring coworkers. We are not just a team, but an extension of our own families. Looking forward to many more years to come.
