I'm amazed that Grant and Kate are able to run a local food hub as well as their own farm that raises so many types of animals in ecologically sound ways, as well as other products. These are both difficult endeavors.

I used to sell my own products through Hollygrove Market & Farm, and GoodEggs, but both of these hubs were not able to stay open, so I appreciate that Laughing Buddha is filling this much needed role. There is no where else to get such a wide variety of local foods in this area.

Find soil by the yard, modern gardening kits, vegetables, herbs, local honey, local beef, chicken, pork, dairy, and fermented foods that are cost a little more but go to a local business. Definitely worth a stop by if you are seeking a farmer's market in Metairie or Kenner Louisiana.

This is not a nursery. It's a garden supply shop that sells groceries. The store smells not so clean and the owner is pretty full of himself, but GNO needs more local food suppliers so this is what we're stuck with at the moment I suppose.

I'm a collector of Poison Dart Frogs and enjoy building vivariums. They have a great stock of items to make your own ABG mix. Very reasonable prices as well.

Great hidden gem. We get as much of our meat, dairy and produce from here as possible. Great owners and the meat sold here from their farm is some of the best money can buy. You no longer have to go to Wholefoods or order from a farm out of stare to get non-industrial meat.

Great place! Very green! Kinda of a cross between nursery and a health food store. They even have chickens that lay eggs on site. Cool place to go and visit!

Went there around 2 there was a sign on the door saying gone for lunch be back between 2-3,lunch time is 12 ,and the hole time the sign is outside blinking open ,if your gone and the door locked your closed

Great staff that is very helpful and attentive. They are also very knowledgable and answered all my questions. The prices are decent and they were willing to make deals, when I needed 4 three gallon buckets they had 2 in stock so he gave me 2 five gallon at the 3 gallon price and threw in a sheet of one inch rock wool cubes. All in all laughing Buddha is great and I will be doing a lot more shopping there.

A good place for soil and garden supplies that big name stores don't have. Plus it's an interesting little shop to stop at.

Grant (the owner) cares so much about what he does! He clearly loves it and is quite knowledgable. If you want to go to a store with locally-sourced goods and amazing, friendly, and knowledgable customer service, I insist that you go here!

Small place, prices are pretty high. I d love to support local businesses but the quantity and quality just wasn t there in my personal opinion.

Bad Business. People who work there are arrogant. Spent a lot of money there last year.
