I really like this center, it is accessible to all the public, apart from the sensitivity of many teachers. I think people like us can get to learn to speak English with these classes. Hopefully keep it up. Thank you very much for this magnificent work

Very friendly, especially Monica C.
The program (workshop) for women entrepreneurs is the best, if they can take it.
Only the English manager needs to check her emails and answer the questions asked
English classes super good with Professor Paul.

It took a while, due to the major amount of people filling up request forms to get their documents in line, but we made it. We are officially legal to be and stay here, so, thank you. I know there is more of us than the people working in there.. also, there is just so much you can control when you have to rely on another department to make things work =/ but it is possible. And I thank you for your part.

I believe these people get money just for carrying the name "latin american association." They are absolutely useless. They could care less about people needs and problems. They do not even deserve 1 star.

I have not had the best experience, I paid for an English course and in Norcross that they never gave it, and when I returned the money I only had evasion, Mr. Jose Martinez was left to send the check to the house on February 6, two months after paying. Until today I have been begging him for four months to get my money back and it only tells me that they had a thousand mistakes when sending the money.
I honestly do not know if they are just excuses for not returning the money or is that it actually has a malfunction and has become very difficult or have not had the time to send me the check.

I take this means to ask you if you honestly have in mind to return my money or not ?, since it is almost impossible for you to return my calls that I make almost two per day.
Thank you

I tried to apply for vawa law through JESSICA HAND but she doesn't help us immigrants. I gave all the proves to it and she kept saying wasn't enough (probably too lazy) I don't recommend them. I was full of hope. But instead of helping they ruin your dreams.

A total waste of time, the only help they take up is if they profit from it in whatever form. From what I've observed, the staff in here have huge egos and denigrate the people seeking help. They also take advantage of people who don't know the English language financially..if anything, I will personally see that they get monitored closely by the proper authorities. Also note that in all negative reviews they don't even reply to them to make fix their incompetence, but answer and praise all the good 5 star reviews.

They should change the name to the consulate of Guatemala. Maybe that's the best they know how to do, because the immigration department is a waste of time. I do not recommend it. Time is worth more than money. I advise the entire race not to waste their time here.

Hello my names is HectorA.Gomez I am a chef for the last 30 years in the city of Atlanta, I am one of the lucky Latinos to be able to enter this help center for the Latino community, I find it incredibly organized and supportive to the community, not only to latinos but also to the american community of georgia and i have taken english courses that have helped me a lot for my work, also computer courses like word 1 and word 2 with professor Andrew Wong, a great person and very professional, And finally I graduated from an excellent 14-hour digital Tools Course class with teacher Paula Andrea Jimenes who, with her humility and passion to teach us how to manage the Internet, which impacted an incredible learning on how to fund my career as a hotel chef or my own businesses, and as I taught how to cook, many other people, I just want to thank the Latin American association for its effort to continue supporting the community tina and for having the best instructors in the Hispanic world god bless you.

About Latin American Association

The Latin American Association (LAA) is a non-profit organization that has been serving the Latino community in Georgia for over 40 years. The organization was founded in 1972 with the aim of empowering Latinos to adapt and integrate into American society while preserving their cultural heritage.

Over the years, LAA has grown to become the leading agency representing Georgia Latinos. The organization provides a wide range of services and programs designed to meet the needs of Latinos in areas such as education, health, immigration, employment, and civic engagement.

One of LAA's core missions is to promote education among Latino youth. The organization offers after-school programs, tutoring services, college preparation workshops, and scholarships to help young Latinos achieve academic success. Through these initiatives, LAA aims to break down barriers that prevent Latino youth from accessing higher education opportunities.

In addition to its educational programs, LAA also provides vital health services for Georgia's Latino community. The organization operates a medical clinic that offers affordable healthcare services for uninsured or underinsured individuals. The clinic provides primary care services such as check-ups, vaccinations, and screenings for chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension.

LAA also plays an important role in advocating for immigrant rights in Georgia. The organization offers legal assistance and representation for immigrants facing deportation or other legal challenges related to their immigration status. Additionally, LAA works closely with local policymakers and community leaders to promote policies that support immigrant integration into American society.

Another key area where LAA makes an impact is employment assistance. Many Latinos face significant barriers when it comes to finding stable employment due to language barriers or lack of access to job training resources. To address this issue head-on, LAA offers job placement assistance as well as vocational training programs designed specifically for Spanish-speaking individuals.

Finally yet importantly,Latin American Association encourages civic engagement among Georgia's Latino population by providing voter registration drives, civic leadership trainings, and advocacy campaigns on issues affecting the community at large. The goal is not only empower individual but also strengthen communities through collective action

In conclusion,Latin American Association has made significant contributions towards improving the lives of Latinos living in Georgia over its four decades existence.Their commitment towards promoting education ,healthcare access ,immigrant rights ,employment opportunities, and civic engagement have made them one of most respected organizations serving latino communities across America
