Love the concept. Wanted to love it but it's just not worth it.... Get Uber/Lyft or rental like we did. I just hated how out of the way it seemed. Extremely high priced for what it is... Skip it for sure. I will say it was pretty at night and a few people were drunk on ours. Nice to have a safe way back to hotel. But If your not staying at one of their stops it's kind of pointless.

Love riding the Monorail

Love riding the Monorail
Always clean, and easy on and off. We've been riding the Monorail for 8 years. Only time you will see crowds will be New Years Eve. Otherwise, easy Peasy and really Cool experience

Worth checking out once i guess but for me the bus is way better. You still have walk a lot and navigate through the casinos to get to LVBLVD. Take the bus if you're on a budget and want to travel more (from mandalay bay to freemont street experience). If you enjoy walking and enjoy seeing behind the casinos then go for the monorail.

Clean, comfortable and really convenient if you don't have a car. Can be a little confusing, sometimes you go up at a station, sometimes you go down. The southbound monorail and northbound monorail open at opposite sides, if you don't pay attention you may miss the monorail and it's 6 minutes on avg for the next. Otherwise I found it really helpful.

It is convenient and fast but when you re in the strip I find it hard to locate the station.
If you ask for directions from some hotel staff we end up in wrong spot. Long walk from station to strip along the hotel.
Would be nice to have visible signage on strip so can locate the station easily.
We got the 4 day pass and very worth it .
Thank you for the clean stations and Monorail .

Can be hard to find at the back of the casino's so quite a walk off the strip.Fast and regular service though but can get crowded, could not get on with my wifes wheelchair on one occasion.Don't see why they charge for two tickets when one person is in a wheelchair and has to be pushed,so no option to travel alone.

Simple, no-frills, no-nonsense reliable transportation. While staying near the LVCC I utilized the monorail several times to visit the strip and the Vegas scene. The platforms are clean, the stations safe and the train runs every 7 minutes or so. While individual rides are $5 a piece you can purchase an all day pass for a few bucks more (I think $12-14). In my case the hotel provided complimentary passes each day.

Hopping on at the convention center heading south to the strip is a quick ride. Furthest south or last stop is the MGM Grand. Some days there are more stops than others but I wasn t there long enough to figure out the pattern/schedule (maybe weekdays vs. weekends).

If you want to travel between the Luxor and the Bellagio, there is a free tram/trolley west of the strip, behind the Luxor that is open to the public. Though I never found a need to take it since the weather was cooperative and I just walked north on S. Las Vegas boulevard.

Returning from the casino hotel stations is an adventure. The signs in the casino lobbies are not abundant and often you have to guess or ask which direction the monorail entrance is. Though this is not the fault of the monorail operator, instead the issue lies with the hotel. Maybe they don t display clear signs as a way to get you all turned around in hopes of distracting you with more slot machines and blackjack tables :)

Overall very pleased with this ground transport option and will use again if I stay near the LVCC.

Good luck finding the stops. The map is poorly labeled and we NEVER saw a sign. We bought 4 passes and never used them. After the hotel staff could not tell us where an access point was and we had walked forever, we gave up and bought Duece (bus) tickets for the day. Forget the monorail; the bus has more stops and easier access, even though I suspect the monorail may be faster travel wise but unless you know where stops are, you'll waste time trying to find stops which may result in more time than the bus!

we love the ease of this! it has all the right spots so our feet dont hurt, wish they would run 24/7 and have better signage in hotels on how to get there but it is a life saver to get where you want to go in a flash!

I think the idea of the monorail is great. I do have a couple of complaints though. At most stations you can only access the monorail by navigating your way through whatever hotel the destination is at. I wish there was just an easier way to get to and from the stations. Like direct access to the street. It really didn t save me that much walking unless the hotel that the station was at was the destination I intended on stopping at. I also wish it went further south. The last stop (MGM) was still pretty far from Luxor and Mandalay Bay. I wish they had it in front of the hotels like directly above the strip or something.

Great way to travel around Las Vegas in this modern Monorail service. It is also worth taking a return trip from MGM to the end of the line and return to where you started. This way you get a fantastic view of parts of Las Vegas you would not expect to see as the monorail goes behind most of the resort hotels. Once you get off you have of course to walk through the hotels to get back to the Strip and this can take ten minutes. The modern trains run every few minutes and they are all very clean with no graffiti in sight. We really enjoyed our trip and it only costs a few dollars so we'll worth it.

Poor civil engineering and planning across the board. This should not have been executed without proper access and ease of use. And where are the benches to sit down on while waiting for the train?! The New York subway has better facilities. JOKE. Way to fail your city, Las Vegas planning.

Good mean of transportation to move along the Strip. One-day or even 2, 3-day tickets available.
Cars are modern, comfortable, with enjoyable air conditioning.
It's true depending on the station there's 5 to 10 minutes walk to get to the Strip but it's via the amazing hallways of hotels' casinos, gardens or shop galleries.

Always a pleasant experience. Convenient transportation between most major areas. Cars are clean and temperate. Stations are all very clean with friendly security attendants. Pay stations accept Google Pay. Definitely extends the typical range you can cover in a day or allows stays off the strip.

A great way to travel around Vegas without driving and paying to park. It does not run the entire length of the strip, and often one will walk even a distance after they get off at the nearest stop. Finding the entrance to it at the casinos where is does stop, was challenging, since the casinos do not want anyone to leave. We rode during the day and felt safe even as the car filled up. A security person boarded and rode to the end of the line where the car reverses direction.
The cars are clean and the views are very good. It moves quickly but not so fast that one feels motion sickness.
