No sand in traps. Hard to gage landing area off several tees.
This review is not about the course itself, which is fine. The problem is the staff at the clubhouse who are unpleasant and curt when in conversation if you have questions. My expectation at establishments like this is that the staff are there to help you, where here I was treated only as though I was an inconvenience.
Great food and nice big Windows looking out on golf course!
Driving range is in a beautiful setting. Prices were reasonable. My only knock was that there was just a single tee to be found on the range.
Has some nice long holes on the back 9. The restaurant there has a fair variety of dishes.
Great place to Drive a Bucket of Golf Balls, plus a great place to wait out the traffic headed for Tracy or Stockton
Course was in really good shape. Good pace, good parking, nice range, well managed during the Covid situation. Good accessability and friendly staff. I'm definitely going back, lots of fun!
Too bad of a pace and nice sports bar connected to it!
Played foot golf here. It's only a 9 hole course, but it's pretty challenging.
This is definitely one of the best municipal facilities in the Bay area. And Beebe's is a full blown sports bar, a level above nearly every other course around.
Golf course is like a cow pasture, green are so bad ,you cant putt on ,bumping grass is thin, course is not worth $20 to play they change $65 way over price, will not be back garbage courses
If you don't mind the junior club playing in front of you with no etiquette and no adults to teach them course manners it's an ok place.
The new course is nice and the staff if friendly. They do push too hard on fast play. My game is fast enough, and I'm' not worried about how many groups you can get on the course in a day. The prices have gone up a bit too much too.
Greens are tricky and fast. Too many bald patches in the fairways, like the layout.
The staff wasnt slavic enough. I swear the other golfers weren t even slavic. And i had to pay for my vodka so
Best friendly, challenging public course in the bay area
Course in terrible shape, took over 51/2 hours to play 18 holes, very slow
I played Los Positas a few times in the past 6 months and have enjoyed the course. The staff is nice and friendly.
Las Positas Golf Course is fun place to play if you are in to golf they have a challenging 18 hole and a fun 9 hole plus a driving range and a couple chipping greens for practice. The restaurant there is good too and great place to get a bite and a beer.
Great place to get outside during these difficult times and have some fun with family!
Challenging course from the blue tees but fun to walk
It's alright. Nothing challenging or exciting. You will think a plane is going to fly into you as you tee off on one of the front 9 holes.
Fun course, some challenging holes, in decent shape
Golf sucks and is a waste of land...
Golf is for insecure, pretentious people who want to pretend like they're better than they actually are...Golfers who drive BMWs (Big Money Wastes) are extra trashy...
good 9 hole course for beginners! went here thinking the 9 hole would be half of the 18 hole but this place is so big they have space for an 18 hole course and a separate 9 hole! 9 hole was all par 3s (if i remember correctly) and very beginner friendly :) course conditions were also good
It's an interesting Muni course with no two holes alike. The course is in pretty fair shape although the bunkers need new, fresh sand.
Great layout ant the best greens in the Bay Area. Great staff and very helpful.. Best teaching pros around, all of them are exceptional.
Every challenge level is represented. Even from the white tees, the course will punish you if you don't pay attention to it's obvious clues - and some not so obvious(first tee shot in particular). From the tips it will significantly challenge the single digit player. Greens got bit hard with a fungus and are just now rebounding. This will irritate those players used to playing on glass. The food in the bar is well above average and the tap beer selection is usually pretty decent too.
Beeb s is such a fun place good food and ambiance of golf course and airport is super fun!
Nice driving range with grass and pads to hit from.
Lots of fun, great value.. I had a blast playing here and look forward to playing again. There was a good mix of holes that you could attack and holes you had to decide what to do with. The greens were all consistent which was great.
Lots of work has been done over the years to improve the quality of greens and terrain here. Lots if fun and great challenging holes as well.
Really cool they have footgolf. Also cool to see the planes on the runway up close
Pleasant environment, prompt friendly & efficient service. Well prepared food.
Nice course for a very reasonable price. I would suggest booking tee time during the week if you plan on going on a Saturday or Sunday as the spots tend to fill up quick. Usually not much wait time finding a spot at the range either never had to wait more than 5 minutes until a slot opens up.
Fun local muni. Very kid friendly with an inexpensive exec course.
I went to a DAR Annual Spring Luncheon catered at Beeps Grill Restaurant attached to the. Las Positas Golf Course. The buffet included brunch coffee, tea, juice, mixed fresh fruit, red potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, pork breakfast sausage, pancakes, syrup, jam, whipped cream, butter, hot sauce.
It's location is convenient at Airway Blvd & I-580. The course condition I rate as an only fair because on every fairway their are bare & brownout patches as well as some muddy spots. The greens are fast and you need to take care in reading the breaks and paying attention if u are putting down or up the fall line.
Always has good food. Great selection. Great place to watch sports. A lot of Tv's. You'll never miss a thing!
Driving range choice of mats or grass. Buckets a little on the expensive side. $5 for 40 balls.
Great course. The course was soaked when I played, understandable given the hot weather. Greens a little bit slow but it has great potential. Would definitely come back again and hopefully conditions are better. Otherwise, fun layout and worth the money!
The middle schools of Livermore are competing here. Kids are having fun.
Mid to high handicap friendly. Fun course to play. Some dead/dirt patches in the fairways that should be fixed. You'll enjoy it.
Public golfcourse. Well maintained. Cure your slice, or you'll wind up on the runway of the Livermore airport.
Great course, walkable; greens are always perfect. Jeff & Scott run an excellent kids program, I ve had my kids here for the last 2yrs playing at a new level each season! Always get my fitting and clubs from the pro shop; the annual demo day has the best pricing & fitting anywhere in the Bay.
Love playing there always. I'm oart of the FIRST TEE. S.O. GOLF
Went to Beebs at the course. Great food, had the BBQ bacon burger it was delicious. Waitress was nice and attentive I highly suggest visiting
Amazing facility. Allows you to play golf at a great price. The atmosphere is great and they have some really good pros for coaching. Tom is the best.
31/2 stars, the clam chowder was good but not great, the tacos were ok, I can't give a real fair assessment unless I returned a few times, our waitress was helpful, good family or couples spot, the raccoons peering through the tall windows a plus..
Well watered and greens roll true. Greens can be deceptive; put at the hole on most greens. Trees line every fairway.
Maybe more of a 3.5 but LasPo is a fun decent muni in reasonable shape. It's worth taking a look if you aren't too snobby. There's also a par 3 course that I'd like to visit one day too.
Cool spot, not too expensive and a good round of golf.
Its a fun local track to play, unfortunately it hasn't been as kept up as it once was. Given this time currently has put off a lot of places, I hope the course quality returns to what it used to be a long time ago. Had some of the nicest sand, lush fairways, and tree line on the first half. A little overpriced for the overall course quality unless you play at the right time and on a week day.
Wind was a big factor in my game but I had a blast, and the driving range is perfect to practice hitting into the wind.
