Very nice park, it's kept up well, and it's fairly clean for the kids.

Nice park playground tennis courts pool. No soap dispensers in the bathrooms and not very clean bathrooms.

Very green, and serene. Lots of beautiful established trees. Therefore plenty of shade all around the park. Looks like a community pool used to be there on the far end of the park, but looks like it hasn't been maintained for a long time. Would have been nice if it was open for the summer.

I think sidewalks would improve the value of this park.

Nice trees and very clean; unfortunately it was closed but still managed to get in and have lunch on a bench there.

Good part but just be a ware that you might find homeless there eaither in the day or night

Great park lots of trees. watch out for many people who believe the leash law doesn't apply to them and their dogs.

WE WERE ATTACKED BY DOGS OFF LEASHES LEACH LAW AT THE PARK NOT BEING INFORCED DOG FIECES BECAUSE PEOPLE TURN THEM LOOSE TO POOP AND LEAVE IT

Nice and big grassy park, with good curbside parking for doggie run/walk!

It's really A lovely old park. They have 3 different play ground sets and plenty of space to move around. However there's A few negatives. One they had A pool here and it's run down and ugly. 2 it's in A bad area in s ence and you get some ghetto people around it.

A very quiet place ... besides that it is super wide ... we really like to come

It's great but no pool it's shut down tennis courts are run down as well

Great park! Huge trees that off a large amount of shade over the summer. Looked like a fun place for kids with a nice playground. Bathrooms on site too!

Nice, quiet. Wish they would re-open the pool though.

Very peaceful and pleasant, has shade and sunshine. Public bathroom, play area's and picnic tables and benches.

Usually surrounded by homeless, also can be dangerous late afternoon , I've been a resident of Las Cruces for 20+ years and lots of shootings have taken place here most unreported.

Got swarmed by bees. Did not know I could move like that.

This is a great park!! The only thing I would watch out for is some holes in the ground on the grassy areas and in the mens restroom my boyfriend said there is no soap or paper towels. Other than that this park is great with lots of trees for shade perfect for picnics and birthday parties! Has a tennis court no pool though it is closed down.

It's a cool lil spot where you can post up with the family, kids, significant other and enjoy whatever festivities you enjoy However, I only give 3 starz because the bathrooms are NEVER open. Lol

My dog enjoys being outside at the park he can meet other dogs sometimes. I've always enjoyed this park since I was a kid. I remember the big hills they use to have. My siblings n I use to roll down the hills. Heck we use to pretend to be the Chips police on motorcycles running up n down on the trail to each hill. Those were the days that was fun.

I like this place so that my little girl can go and play

This is one of the larger parks in town and has a lot of grass and trees which is nice. There is plenty of space for parties or gatherings, but it's pretty packed on the weekends because of this. The playground areas are up to date, clean, and the equipment is safe. The restrooms are super gross as are most city park restrooms, but at least they are available. Overall it's a large, shaded, fun park.

Very nice park. Went walking around the park for some exercise. The bathrooms were very convenient. A lot of birds sat down and watch them for a while very tranquil and peaceful. I live across the street and decided I'll start getting my exercise there everyday.

Lovely park but beware of sketchy characters hanging out there from time to time. The police do monitor it several days a week so it does make it feel more safe.
