lovely cafe, nice views of the maas river. the cafe is located in one of the hippest areas of Rdam. A good movie theater that shows mostly festival films (big plus). A lot of restaurants, cafes, bars, art galeries near by. Must visit!!

Lantaren window is, after my experience, the best cinema in the field of art, culture and powerful emotional films etc. I would definitely recommend coming here once neighborhoods. The location is also very accessible via public transport and definitely worth using other transport. Very pleasant with film festivals and with 'camera film festival Japan', for example, completely in theme. A real gem!

What I found annoying was the hard music in the cafe section (and then music that I do not even like). After a performance I wanted to have a chat with someone while enjoying the glass, but it was screaming.

One of the loveliest cinemas in Rotterdam. Not the mainstream movies, but those alternative hidden gems can be found here. Restaurant and bar make this great venue complete.

My favorite place to watch a movie in Rotterdam. Beautiful location next to the water, which is great if you're doing drinks afterwards. Their selection of movies is nice too; lots of art movies with the occasional blockbuster.

This place is great for catching interesting movies and concerts. Their programming is excellent. On top of that, the food they serve is great and staff is very friendly.

I would recommend using one of their lunch+movie or dinner+movie combinations for a nice deal.

A super cozy cinema where often the less popular films are shown. Location is perfect. Very special that you can eat there. Nice food and not expensive. Compliments to the cook. Service is friendly and casual.

Movies nothing to complain about, coffee, lunch also good. But come on a lantern window ... you have been closed for so long you could not even clean the lot of (reading) chairs in the halls once properly ??? They look "tasteless" to say the least.

To the movies and want to drink a cup of coffee beforehand. After waiting 10 minutes on a not full terrace, we entered the case with the question whether we could order something. When asked how long it would take to prepare a sandwich, this turned out to be 10 min. Time, but after 20 min no sandwich. Then have to ask if we could pay please and where the sandwich went. It turned out to have been cold on the counter for some time. Got it in a bag. There were enough staff, it was not very busy. I was not alone, 3 people also had to ask if they could order or pay. Food looked good what came along. Staff could react more alert. Would be a shame if this worked out badly for the case. Point for improvement.

Me and my sister have been coming here for a long time. Actually from the opening. We think it is a wonderful cinema. There is also a lack of music performances. There is always something to do. The space is laid out very nicely. You can eat and drink something or just have a nice chat with your friends. You also do not have to go to the cinema, but you can meet with your friends there to meet each other. So in summary it is a top location for multiple purposes.

Offer films excellent, something for everyone. Hospitality can be better, tables are not cleaned up and not clearly served or picked up.

Great place full of surprises..good to eat there and with a friend. Serbice, ifo and facilities.good. salsa group in the hall. Cheerfulness. Here you can be and enjoy, participate or just hang out. Or meeting total strangers.

Recommended to quietly watch a movie. They only show cult films and documentaries. So no Avengers and such movies.

I have been here before for "Salsa on the Harbor". The atmosphere here is relaxed and cozy. The music is good and when a show is finished the "normal" visitors have to cross the dance floor to go outside. Often they also keep watching dance for a while.

Cozy, nice atmosphere and a nice place to grab a movie. Sit on a special location at the head of South, Rotterdam. Near hotel New York and opposite restaurant moods of Eveline Wu. Also worth a visit

Great theater for people over 50. Good range, nice location and cozy ambiance. Drink before or after with friends and nearby if the city has a bite to eat.

Doesn't have the screamers of the movie theater chains in town.
