Language Matters Worldwide Review

I've been in process twice for 2 different job opportunities.
The second time the agency had some miscommunications with their client, leading to a confusion about my phone interview.
Also, in both process : I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY FEEDBACK OR ANSWER.
How ridiculous is that ? Are you just using candidates and throwing them away if they are not successful ?
Candidates and Businesses : Do not waste your time for this agency.

Really great agency to find work quickly in London, Linda was so helpful and efficient with helping me find a temp job this summer!

Brilliant company that helps you find the perfect job quite easily. Just have to sign up, tell them what you are looking for and a friendly agent will be of assistance and will do anything they can to aid you in search of work. Even if it doesn't work out for you the first time they will keep looking for suitable jobs and contact you to see if you are interested. They set up meetings and interviews for you with companies/people and all in all a great experience was had.

Service was great and really fast. I applied to one of their ads online and heard back from them within a couple days. A day after that I met up with Frank, one of their consultants, in their office to go over the role. There were no long periods of time waiting to hear back or calls that never came like I had experienced with other recruitment agencies.

Language Matters is a very good agency and Linda's been very helpful since the beginning. I would commend this agency.

Language Matters are an excellent agency for bilingual freelancers looking for temporary, ad hoc project work. Payment is normally prompt and the emphasis on building strong agent-worker relationships is commendable. Jessica Lara deserves a special mention as a highly competent consultant with great interpersonal skills and real commitment to the development and wellbeing of individual freelancers, who would be lucky to have her looking after them. Client roster is impressive though perhaps needs to be broadened to give workers more opportunities. A continuous feedback loop between agent, worker and end client could also be established, giving both temp workers and agents an opportunity to share key learnings, set common goals and grow not just organisationally but as individual professionals, whether we are in-house or not. It is a fact that in the current economic climate gig-style work is often precarious, insecure and demanding, but decisions made by agents can go a long way to help shoulder some of the structural hardships endured by the temp workforce. Unlike most recruitment agencies, LM seems to care about the freelancers and I hope they keep up the good work, as in the longer term it will only enhance their reputation.
