Nice pub with cosy atmosphere. Clean rooms and good breakfast. By foot the train station is only 15 minutes away.

OK, I admit ... we have come here more often, but today was very special. A particularly nice gift as an extra welcome after an intensive year. Thank you team LJ !!! We will also be back in 2019.

Super friendly, nice location by the stream...the lounge on the top floor we received for a 80 bucks instead of 95...because it was after 17h...the whole city is a little Amsterdam...really niiiiice!!!

Great room, parking ticket great, the center is cozy

Cozy location, room small but clean, with attention to the smallest details. A shelf hooked socket by the bed. And even earplugs, but they wouldn't be necessary at all. Windows ensure that no street noises come in. Cozy terrace on the water and a view of the Lange Jan. Highly recommended.

Clean room and friendly staff. I have dust mite allergies and avoid hotels. But I slept wonderfully there. And certainly go there again next time.

Fantastic hotel wonderful beds very clean. Nice view of the square. We have done the climb of our lady tower quite spicy but with plenty of resting places definitely worth it. There is also a pub in the hotel where they serve delicious food and cake. Nice relaxed atmosphere television with some games. If you are looking for an overnight stay in the heart of Amersfoort then I definitely recommend it. We did not take breakfast due to other agreements and found 12.50 a lot of money for a breakfast. Perhaps there is still a possibility to look at 7.50 for me is the max for a breakfast.

Was here off season and enjoyed my stay. Very friendly staff. Right above a pub that stays open until 1am, and at a cozy square filled with other terraces, pubs and restaurants.
So I can imagine it would be too busy for me during high season. But again, really enjoyed my stay. Would call this a high end hostel though instead of an hotel.

Very nice hotel in the center of Amersfoort. The room was small but adequate, and nicely decorated. Everything completely clean and hygienic. Shower was very nice! A cozy pub is located on the ground floor. The welcome was friendly with a drink from the house. You can eat delicious burgers at the neighbors, which should also be served on the terrace of the hotel. Breakfast also completely fine. Nice terrace in ds garden on the water.

Nice, beautiful, cute and clean Hotel. Ideal that the bar is downstairs. Rooms are large and beds are good. Furthermore ideally located in the center. Also nice that they have parking agreements with some garages.

Small but cozy hotel neat and clean, informal atmosphere with pub. Breakfast from the menu. Fresh, young staff. Located in the center within walking distance of eg cinema and museum.

Very good hotel, place, clean, working people exept for wi-fii. n corrodors wi-fii is OK, but in room, it is terrible.

Incredibly good price for a really nice private room in a great location. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food and drinks in the bar were fantastic! The bar is also open super late which is nice.

This hotel means in the center of Amersfoort is a must. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and the burgers are recommended. The price top!

Adorable top floor suite. The staff were very freindly and accomidating, breakfast was the best hotel breakfast bar I've had, and the town is great. If we are ever back in amersfoort we will definately be staying here again.

What a nice hotel, very friendly reception, clean room, good food and a cozy pub. It can't be done! You are on a very nice square with many terraces, but we have had no noise at all. Thanks!!

Have been allowed to stay overnight in the Lange Jan Hotel for several consecutive weeks.

You check in and out with the people behind the bar of the Long John's pub. The people are very friendly and remember you. The last times I spent the night someone was already ready with the card of my room when I entered

The beds are good, the rooms too. The suite is actually quite spacious and in addition to a comfortable bed, it also has a comfortable sofa.

Breakfast is simple but very good. I personally think it is recommended. As the name suggests, the hotel is located right next to the church tower. If you have trouble sleeping due to the striking of the church bells ... earplugs can be found in your hotel room. Very thoughtful.

Rooms are nice and the hotel/ pub is awesome. Location is very good; it is close to all the sights and attractions. Staff are warm and helpful.

Excellent Hotel, great breakfast at reasonable prices

Great hotel. Rooms simple but well clean. The beds were okay. Enough towels available. The shared bathroom and toilet were no problem for us. The plumbing was clean and nice and warm. Sunday morning a friendly welcome at breakfast and good food. Recommended for a weekend in A'foort

This hotel has only 1 star and I do not understand that at all. Rooms were clean, bathroom okay, location great. Entirely right!

Really lovely central place to stay with great staff who were so helpful and nice, I couldn't recommended it enough.

Really nice hotel and a great pub attached. Interesting beers and a simple food menu. However our room overlooked the beer garden which was absolutely banging until 1am. It was a Tuesday night FFS, Amersfoort doesn't sleep. And therefore unfortunately neither did we.

Very nice place in The Old Town in Amersfoort...very Good breakfast

I called to inquire about the rooms. The person who answered barely understood English. He asked for my phone number. I thought he is doing so to let someone else call me back. While I was giving the number he simply hanged up! I booked in another hotel.

Staff was very nice. The room was well insulated from the sound of the bar. Bedroom had a shower in room, but the toilet was shared with the floor. Less than 50m from the tower, easy to find. Breakfast also came with a free welcome drink at the bar. Not handicap accessible -- no elevator and all rooms are upstairs.

Very nice hotel and good service. Bed is nice and soft and room is very clean. Too bad it was said that there is air conditioning, but that is not the case. also the fridge was not near a plug and there was no toilet in the room. The TV was smaller than my i pad

Lange Jan is een heel gezellig hotel. Schoon en dat is altijd heel belangrijk.
Vriendelijk personeel.
Ik ga zeker nog een keer terug naar Lange Jan.

After a rather tough trip I was happy to find that the Hotel I booked included a sweet little pub. Very nice personnel!

Top hotel, small with a mighty beautiful terrace. Not expensive and is beautifully beautiful in the center. And you can park in the Stadsplein parking garage for 7.50 while your stay lasts

Just returned from a five night stay here. Hands down the best place we have ever stayed! We traveled in a group of 9 using four rooms in this hotel. This included 4 kids, whom the staff was amazing with! Everyone made us feel so welcomed and apart of the 'family'. A special Thanks to Fritz - one of the greeters in this hotel..when you go ask if he's around.
The rooms here are clean and simple. We had the two rooms on the top floor but only really used them for sleeping in as we really enjoyed the small pub below, gardens outback and the seating area out front. You are also overlooking a sqaure that has various places to eat and everything you will need is located within walking distance to this hotel. The staff are all very knowledgeable about the area and where things are located.
Don't miss out on this great little find! We will be back for sure!

Our second stay coming from the USA (visiting family) and this time we booked the suite for a week. Love this place. Stunning location, amazing breakfast and the suite is spacious and we even hosted my family one night before diner. I will book this again next time around.

Affordable stay in city Center. Friendly staff, clean rooms.

Very comfortable price continuous place to stay, well worth the visit.

They have very nice patrons here, that are interesting; in the way they are able to devide their attention amongst their guests.

In particular breakfast is an experience here, almost worth considering without actually staying there especially in spring and summer time, when you can sit, in the back garden.

"See if they have your favorite "number" tea, mine is 23, which turned out to be "lemon and ginger" also the yogurt makes for a very positive experience"

The only thing that was slightly out of this fine balance.., was the "ontruimingsplan Kamer 4" floor plan sign on the door, as am actually staying in room 8 and also in room 11

Which offers more comfort for an afforable price. This time it was "ontruimingsplan Kamer 7" at least they are very consistent also in this service :-)

Amersfoort is an interesting mix, between Urban and Rural.. :-) Great places to see and visit, like the "muurhuizen" or "de Lange Jan".

Pretty location, but the room was really very small, nothing to do with the advertised photos. Good breakfast.

Very nice experience everywhere. As a guest of the hotel, they received a free drink from the pub, where they had a large selection of specialty beers. Rooms were clean and cared for. Friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is centrally located in Amersfoort and the entire city is easily accessible from here; on foot or by bus.
