I had an anatomy scan appointment today everything went to smooth and fast! The receptionists from check-in, registration & radiology were super nice and friendly! Magee did my baby ultrasound and she was amazing and very thorough! I loved how she makes sure you are calm and talks to you throughout the scan to put you at ease. Definitely recommend seeing her if anyone is needing to do your anatomy scan.
This hospital and its staff have demonstrated to my wife and me that they are dedicated to being all that it is possible for their patients. My wife has been desperately ill and confined to the hospital for several months with many more problems. The team of doctors and nurses have worked together like a beautifully oiled machine to diagnose, treat, and conquer everything she faced. We have had a great experience on this hospital stay.
I went here on Monday with a possible blood clot in my lower right leg. I also have severe COPD. The pain was excruciating and my leg was twice the size of my left.After registration, the lady rudely told me to sit down and wait. I have never encountered such rudeness in all my life not just to me but to everyone walking in the door. It was horrible. I was there 4 hours when I calmly asked an RN when I was going to be taken in. She said probably around 12am or 1am. A person was throwing up about 2 feet away which had been doing that for 5 hours previously and another was coughing about 2 feet on the other side. Both didn t have masks on for obvious reasons. When he asked when he would be seen, they told him to sit down and be quiet. The list goes on. Long story short, I left and went somewhere else and others did the same. These were major issues and they re playing with peoples lives. If they don t have live, mercy, and compassion for their patients, they shouldn t be doing the job.
This hospital is trash. They admitted my mom last year, failed to evaluate her heart condition and she passed away the next day due to a massive heart attack. Now, my father has been admitted for a low blood pressure situation and they have not contacted his primary care and he has been there for 4 days. Every Dr and nurse that calls needs to be walked through the entire situation over and over again which I find unprofessional as they are clearly not reading his medical file or calling his primary care. Now they won t release him due to some random PT evaluation that they should have completed 2 days ago. This hospital MUST have a million lawsuits due to their poor performance.
My experience/ stay at landmark for an emergent reason was horrible! The ER department, The X-ray staff disrespectful, EVS they clean when your trying to eat( partial clean) the place is a zoo with no customer service skills. The Nurses do and say what they chose! I can say there are a few decent nurses who really care than that don t take your worst enemy or animal there!!
The ER staff is rude and unhelpful. I came in after my doctor told me I needed to right away and was treated as if I came in for a mere hangnail. I nearly had an anxiety attack in the waiting room between that and a woman and her children causing a commotion in the waiting area. They ask questions about me feeling safe at home... yeah, I feel safe at home, being at the hospital is a different story. Never again! Grossly unprofessional and unethical.
Dr. Michel spends a lot of time explaining the diagnosis and the situation of the patient. He gives clear information on the necessary precautions and health care to be taken. It was a wonderful experience with the kind of hospitality and kindness the doctor and the entire staff showered on us. I strongly recommend Dr. Michel for any kind of orthopedic problems, he is a well-versed doctor.
Came to the ER Sunday in the middle of the night with severe abdominal pain. All that I can say is that my care was exceptional. Everyone that I encountered, from the registrar to the ER physician, was kind and professional. Although I do not remember my primary nurse's name, she was awesome at starting my IV, drawing blood work, giving medications, and frequently checking in on me. What a great bunch of professionals!!!!!!!!!
I took my daughter to this hospital because it was the closest to us. I had no idea I was taking her to the worst hospital in RI. Every single person (doctor and lay person) I have spoken to since my horrible experience has asked me why on earth did I choose Landmark.
They sent my daughter home 3 times in 3 days for a condition they told us in a very demeaning way was caused by Marijuana smoking. I'm seriously looking into that and it may be the case but the treatment at Landmark was substandard to put it mildly. They admitted her at Miriam for the same problem Landmark turned her away. She was talked to like the human being she is and the possible reasons for her condition and how to help herself in a kind and compassionate way.
Dr Benjamin Hilliker told me cases of what my daughter had were "putting a severe burden on the Healthcare system". Dr Hilliker you are part of the problem. Had you and this lousy excuse for a hospital admitted her and had a discussion with her instead of your rude reprimand she would gave endured much less pain and wouldn't have taken the time of the various members of the hospital staff during the emergency room process. You should be ashamed of yourself. The staff was also borderline rude and barely helpful.
