The organization was founded in 2013 as a result of the merger between two other non-profits - the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County and the Lancaster Alliance.
The mission of Lancaster City Alliance is to cultivate partnerships with businesses, local communities, the arts, education institutions, non-profits and government agencies to promote economic development and enhance the quality of life in Lancaster.
