BUYER BEWARE!!! The worst experience trying to get glasses in my life; I am 63 years old & wearing glasses since I was 8.
I deal with severe health & energy issues. I ordered my glasses and paid in full with credit card. I was only given a receipt for the total purchase amount; told I would not get an itemized receipt for my $532.80 payment when I received my glasses in 2-3 weeks. Afterward I realized I needed an itemized receipt for my payment of $532.80 to ensure my order was correct.
I called & was emailed a receipt; lens treatments were listed at different prices than I was quoted verbally & I was very upset about it.
I called & spoke with the Assistant District Manager who was very rude and blaming me for the situation & that no one else needs a receipt for huge payment of money!!! She promised to send me the insurance print out and did not do so. I called their other store location and was given different price information for their list prices than was on my itemized receipt (3 calls and I was given misinformation/wrong price each time).
I called back & asked for the District Manager. She later returned my call; was rude, did not listen to my concern or situation at all and told me that my money was being refunded & my glasses order cancelled. I said, this is not the resolution I want & she said "Well it's the resolution you are going to get." I wanted my account corrected and to receive the glasses I spent an hour picking out and purchasing.
I cannot express the harm caused to my health & system from the unnecessary stress & hours wasted trying to get an itemized receipt for a $532.80 payment!!! This is business Basics; you pay the money, you get a receipt defining what you purchased.
I was really verbally mistreated by the Assistant District Manager & District Manager.
This system of no itemized receipt for payment at time of payment needs to be changed immediately.
Horrible experience!!!
