They claim to be a Christian facility, you know the Bible verses on the wall and all, but thats about the ONLY Christian thing about the place. They have Yoga classes, Harry Potter book clubs and they teach other classes that are contrary to Christian beliefs. The two stars are because there are a few workers there who take good care of my mom. If I was able, I would bring her to a place where witchcraft was NOT part of the corriculum.
6 years ago my grandmother was sent here for hospice because the place she wanted to go was full. I still cry about how rude the staff was to our family and her shoddy care six years later. I will never forget how horrible a few staff made us feel. She deserved so much more. I have been to several hospice homes between my husband and I losing family and the love we felt from the staff was amazing.
Caring staff, great teamwork and communication, truly caring people. Food is also good. This experience has been great. Very nice people.
They berate residents into trying to give them financial control, and deliberately mis-bill insurance in attempts to get the residents to pay higher rates out of pocket. They ignore health care directives and mislead residents about what medications they are taking. If a resident has a vocal advocate, Lake Ridge staff attempt to berate the resident into removing power of attorney from that advocate.
I have worked at Lake Ridge for 14 years. I believe the residents here are well cared for and consider Lake Ridge their home. The wonderful residents and staff make coming to work each day a treat.
Every time I have gone there I have been greeted by friendly staff and they are very helpful.
Lake Ridge is a great place to work. I've only been here a few months, but have been so touched with the love I see our staff has for everyone who lives here. It really is a great place to live, and work.
Horrible. Place smells moldy and musty. Staff don't care for clients and ignores them.
Very friendly environment and your loved ones are known by names, and treated like family!
