Lakepoint Resort State park Review

This is a nice, clean and quiet campground. The restrooms are clean and well kept. The lots are drive thru, with sewer right at the site. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I even found a geocache while I was there. Lots of hiking, bike riding, Eufaula lake site for kayaking, a salt water pool, a lodge and although we didn t visit the picnic area this time, it has a nice large picnic area for groups. I definitely would recommend this campground.

It's great to have a place to go and relax. So happy we decided to join.

Good place to camp, very clean, fun, organized and the people very friendly ... they all say hello.
It is the first place I have seen where you can take your golf cart and be driving all over the camp.
The only thing I would have liked is that the lake water was clean. :)

It's always a great time. Friendly people/neighbors. Alot of fun activities for kids and adults. Glad to be a member!

I was there last year. I thought it was a nice clean place. And at the beach everybody was friendly and having a good time.

Nice place but need to improve snack shop, banquet hall and public restrooms are awful. Visitors are so disrespectful.

Nice campground retreat especially if u live in Chicago, western or sw burbs. It's about 30, 40 min from areas mentioned above. Probably an hour from downtown or north side (lots of QUALITY people that are Sox fans). I think there's more southwest, south, & western residents that camp there.

Has a small but nice beach area. The road goes over the "river like" body of water. Nice size lots & MOST people keep up there spaces nice.
The "Fun Runs" they do in summer (21+) are exactly that...F$!#ing FUN!...silly games, food stops, n booze

Almost everyone has golf carts, can't do the fun-run without one. It's a big campground compared to most.

MAJOR DISLIKE with their gates at the front entrance...u need a card, like you're at a hotel....WHOEVER HANDLES THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE IT ENTER A CODE OR PIN #. It can be a hassle getting in without the card.

Overall fun, and a close "get a way" from Chicagoland.

Nice to get away. Could do better with restrooms and club house. Price is starting to get on high side for what is offered.
