Our History
Lake Trust Credit Union was founded in 1944 as the Detroit Edison Employees' Credit Union. Over the years, we have grown through mergers with other credit unions and expanded our membership base beyond just employees of Detroit Edison (now DTE Energy). Today, we serve anyone who lives or works in Michigan's Lower Peninsula.
