Second only to Blackwell's in Oxford, I am convinced that this is one of the best bookstores on the planet. With a robust and constantly changing selection of both new and used books, it's one of the few places I can visit frequently and always find something new and interesting.

Great independent bookstore in downtown Princeton. We need more like this! Broad selection of new books of all genres, and some rare and used books in the basement (along with textbooks). When the weather is good, there are used and sale books on the sidewalk in front. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a good website for easy online shopping. As with most shops in downtown Princeton, there is no parking lot, but metered street parking is usually fairly easy to find, unless there is something going on at the university.

A great independent books store. Awesome selection of books and well organized and arranged. I could spend hours in there. Being located across the street from Princeton University helps with the ambience of the place.

Awesome variety of books, journals and gifts for all types and levels of readers. They have a selection of rare and first edition books for a really reasonable price. The best part is the prices and the sales racks and I do mean racks. A cozy place to kill some time.

Has both new and used books, with many of the latter being discounted but are still not cheap. They do have some bargain books that are at great prices and I wish there were a wider selection of those. If you live nearby, it's worth coming back often as I think you will be highly likely to come across a quality academic book thanks to the store's proximity to a renowned university and a great publisher. Also I wish there were more seating.

Excellent book store with a huge selection of books. Plenty of popular titles outside in their for sale rack. For a college bookstore, it also has a good variet of children's books. Staff also do an amazing job at gift wrapping books with high quality paper and string. Always great to shop at an independent bookstore.

Wonderful new and used books right on the main strip, with discounts outside and an excellent children s section in back. Great academic titles and a fine buffet of radical selections.

The best bookstore I have ever been to. Located in downtown Princeton it is dripping with history and atmosphere. They have many interesting events such as authors reading from their work and talking about how they created it. Wonderful place.

Bought the Oxford American Dictionary and had read some of poetry for 1 your. You can buy here not only a new books, but like clearance and donation from Princeton University (as by Einstein articles, Economic essays and etc). Two floors book's shop. Good lights and quite music.

This store is a book lover's dream come true. A great selection of new releases in both fiction and nonfiction as well as a superb children's department. The used books section is updated regularly and you can often find treasures when you least expect it. Best of all, though, are the frequent talks by authors and scholars. Truly, Labyrinth has something for everyone.

Sure, Labyrinth is where we all buy coursebooks, but it's also everything one wants from a local bookstore - plenty of history, pleasant and knowledgeable staff, and an impressive selection of books. Labyrinth also hosts readings with famous authors (many in conjuction with the University) and other fun events - I recently went to a paper-cutting lesson with a local artist. Every event I've been to was free.

Labyrinth is a wonderful bookstore! It has a deep stock of serious books, no junk on the shelves, and very helpful staff. It is the first place I go when I am looking for a book. I know of few bookstores as good on the East Coast.

Happened to walk by during a sidewalk sale and got a book by my absolute favorite author for $7. Can't beat it! The sale had sooo many books in it, and the full bookstore inside had anything you could possibly want. Love the independent bookstore vibe in Princeton.

Every bookstore deserves five stars, especially independent academic bookstores. The large kids section is annoyingly politically correct and subversive - and therefore empty. No Disney books there.

Excellent selection of books: text books, new arrivals/best sellers, cook books, poetry books, etc.
In addition, they often have deeply discounted books available outside the store, and regularly have interesting speakers give talks details are posted on the board outside.

This a really cool and unique bookstore. I'm more impressed by their selections of rarer books. It's more of bookstore you'd go to if you're looking for a book that no longer has growing copies. Not the best place if you're into the more well known contemporary authors (stephen king, James Patterson, Neil Gaiman, etc.) - the selection isn't that wide. It has a chill vibe, you know that whole college student hipster thing - its literally right across Princeton Uni. It's expensive though. I don't remember really seeing any sales/discounts. Everything is sold original price.

A unique book store. Not the same as some other major chain stores.
Located right in Nassau Street (near Panera Bread) this store is easy to find.
They have clearance books for sale on the side walk and a lower level in their basement for some pretty cool antique books.
Definitely worth a visit!
