Great environment for anyone who would enjoy learning a new language. I had Natalie for German lessons - can't praise her enough! Very easy to get along with and manages to make a very complicated language easy to understand! I'll be booking more lessons in the future.
My daughter has loved Andreas Spanish lessons both face to face and zoom classes during lockdown, which have been a great way for her to remain in contact with school friends. Class activities are fun, Andrea is very friendly and brilliant with the children. Thank you!

I have been teaching Dutch at la Academia and I find the language school a fantastic place to teach. The staff are very kind and caring and there is a family athmosphere amongst the other teachers that work there. The rooms are intimate and comfortable and offer a pleasant athmosphere to teach one on one or in a group. I can advice anyone who is looking to learn a new language to try La Academia, you will succeed!!
I've been a student at L'academia on and off since 2008 and could not recommend it highly enough. All the teachers are extremely friendly and accommodating. I have had the same teacher now for 2/3 years, Sonia, and she's fantastic! The lessons are always fun, and tailored to my needs. They also have group classes but my own diary made it difficult to attend, but they are also fun, but my 1to1 classes have definitely improved my abilities as a Spanish speaker. I've recently moved away but I'm hoping to organise Skype classes still using them, rather than seeking an alternative.
Overall great value for the accessibility, knowledge and flexibility they afford!
I have been learning Spanish with Valentina at La Academia since September, i cannot fault their service at all, it has been fantastic since day one. Staff are very patient and do a great job in group classes, making sure all students are getting involved and are becoming more confident each lesson.
Fantastic Spanish lessons for children. My 5 and 8-year-olds have been coming for 18 months now and have learned so much. Small classes which are really fun. And we now have little people to help with the Spanish when we go on holiday
Silvi has been teaching Spanish to our Footprints children for at least 10 years! She provides fun and engaging Spanish sessions which involve all the children. The children are always happy and full of enthusiasm when she arrives at nursery. The parents are very impressed with the way their children learn Spanish and they always perform a Spanish song at their Graduation ceremony.
Silvi is always smiling and friendly with all staff and we value her dedication to our children.

My son has been a student of la Academia, via the after school Spanish Club at his Primary, for 2 years. He loves Andrea and Silvi, who have been teaching his group, and he is just loving his Spanish lessons.
The best part for me as a parent is that he has such a beautiful accent, and he is really happy to chatter away, not at all self-conscious. It's a very special gift that la Academia are giving him.
My 6 year old daughter has really enjoyed her Spanish lessons with Andrea in school and it was great that they could continue virtually during lockdown. Andrea is really good at keeping the lessons fun and engaging for the children. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

My daughter absolutely loves Spanish with Silvi and can't wait for Monday morning Spanish class at nursery. She uses her Spanish all around the house and can't wait to go on holiday to Spain.
My daughter Olivia had failed her maths functional skills 4 times. .We were really beginning to give up hope, when someone put me in touch with La Academia.
Andrea was fantastic and acted really quickly in suggesting a tutor she thought would be able to help Olivia.

Great Spanish classes! As well as learning loads they are fun using books, audio, video and general conversation. I've been coming here ages and would recommend it.

Love it! I have learnt more in the short time I have been coming to La Academia than I did in an entire year of classes at adult college! Great atmosphere for learning, excellent and friendly staff, I always look forward to my lessons with Sonia :)
I've been having spanish lessons with Tannia for six months and she has been great. I had some basic spanish before we started but Tannia has helped me become much more fluent in speaking as well as improving my grammar. I've also had a few lessons with other members of the the team and they are all friendly and helpful.
Diego is brill. We are learning Spanish and he's a fab teacher. the lessons are always enjoyable and I feel like I am learning a lot
I've just completed beginners Spanish course unit 1 and l am about to start unit 2. The teacher - Diego is good - he seems to go at just the right pace for everyone and is very encouraging and makes the classes interesting and fun.
My daughter has been learning Spanish with Silvi for 8 years. Silvi always makes the lessons fun and my daughter's development has been phenomenal. She recently worked on a GCSE mock exam, several years before she will be taking her GCSEs in school and I was in awe of how well she did.
Silvi, Ruben and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming, I couldn't recommend La Acadamia highly enough!

Started course with excellent teacher then told by a student that the next 6 weeks that we paid for in advance wouldn't be viable as course numbers had dropped. Left in mid air .Should have been told by management . Their option was private lessons which were costly then put on a waiting list for the earliest course starting a few months later . None of us bothered .
Most positive experience, my son George had Jessica as his tutor for English GCSE this year.George has,aspergers and previously had been very let down by our education system.
Jessica was very encouraging and patient even reassuring George when he felt he wasn't doing so well. He has just got his results today and got A in his English language GCSE. Many thanks Jessica and la acadaemia.one very proud mum.
Really enjoying learning Spanish with La Academia language services. Diego is a very friendly, helpful 'Profesor' and his style of teaching is excellent. Soon starting level 2 beginners and can't start soon enough.
Andrea our teacher, has excelled during this difficult time of Covid 19...She has run her Zoom lessons professionally and sympathetically ..my daughter has remained engaged and enthusiastic and is learning very well .The lessons are fun and as personal as those usually in their classroom.
