La torretta lake resort & spa Reviews

I recently had a wedding room block at La Torretta and stayed two nights there as well. My experience with the two rooms I stayed in was great. Everything was clean and I was able to check in early with no issues. However, a lot of the guests who attended my wedding at stayed at the hotel had less than stellar experiences. Two guests were checked in to rooms that were never cleaned, and never did get cleaned, therefore they lacked clean linens and had dirty toothbrushes, trash, and other items strewn about the room. Another guest was checked in to a room that did not have heat, which was much needed on an unseasonably cold night. We were also told the hotel bar would stay open as long as there were plenty of guests, this was not the case. At 12:45 they called for last call with at least 20-30 people still drinking and in conversation. When asked why they were closing so early we were told that the bartenders had been there since 2 pm and were ready to go home. Overall I'd say my stay was average at best which I was really disappointed in after planning with them for so long to make my wedding weekend great and give my guests a wonderful place to stay.

Loving it , I am all about fishing and I brought my own gear and I had a relaxing day near the lake and the kids at the pool, at night we went to the sushi bar and ate so much , friendly staff and so much to do around the area, I recommend to visit Worlds burger just about 5 minutes away from the resort. The only thing is the little fruit flies. I think for the lake, but it's all good!

Our stay at the Torretta resort was very pleasant!! The only negative thing I have to say is that there should be more places to dining in. Also the hotel store should be more updated and open more days with longer hours. The staff is very friendly, the rooms were very clean. Our check in was very smooth, the guy that was there when we checked in was very professional and very happy to assist. The pools were very clean as well as the lazy river Overall great place to stay!!

Great place to go for a weekend. There is an adult only pool, but also swimming and floating for families. You can rent a water board and get on the lake. There is free putt-putt golf that you can do barefoot if you want. Nice restaurant on property. On the weekend you can enjoy some food/snack while someone plays a piano. The only thing I did not like, both times I went, is the food at the resort diner. Some of the breakfast/lunch or dinner buffet was good but some was not. They could improve in that area so best I can give is 4 stars.

although it's a high-rise hotel and large grounds right on the lake it's a little hard to find. You will have to follow your GPS exactly. It's not on the main road leading anywhere. The road dead-ends at the location. Beautiful high-rise hotel with fountains valet parking and all the amenities. A very large pool and a large play area for children. Write on a golf course and right on Lake Conroe. There are restaurants on the site. very well-maintained gardens in a very safe area of town. The lake can get busy for holidays. this is my first time there and I will definitely come back again. I highly recommend this to anyone. If you like my reviews please leave a thumbs-up. Thank you

Not sure if we will come back. Third time here. Spent over a thousand dollars and can t even get our trash taken out or fresh towels. Hotel is under staffed and staff is under trained. Ordered warm cookies and milk for our kids and had to call about them multiple times just to receive them. When order was delivered cookies were still frozen. Kept our tab open and they kept our cc out on the cash register and not in a secure location while our tab was open. Great property, just under poor management unfortunately. Not a 4 star hotel in my books.

Nice location, great aquatics amenities. Have big pool, adult pool, hot tub, lazy river, water slides. Outside attractions were amazing. You don't have to stay at the hotel to use the aquatics area. Day passes are available for non-guests.

Inside the hotel, not so much. Very hot, flies everywhere. Hotel only would have ranked 2 stars. Fortunately the outside aquatics area was so great it made up for the inside.

Very nice place. Had a very good piano player in their inside bar. They have an Asian cuisine if you want a bite to eat. The water resort is very cool. And they have a DJ after 9 O'clock in their conference area that jams out for some dancing.

I hate to be negative, but this resort was very disappointing. Not what we expected. Room had a bad smell, there was fruit flies, shower was dirty, carpet was dirty, and our shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. We had to mop up the bathroom after each shower. When I called the front desk to ask for more towels and tell them about the leaking shower they weren t concerned one bit, and just sent extra towels for cleaning the floor. The patio door handle was broken. We had a bad experience at the bar as well. We ordered dinner for our large group, and after we waited 45 minutes they told us the kitchen ran out of what we ordered. It was very odd. It seemed like a fun place for families, but it was definitely not a luxurious resort .

Stunning accommodations! The sunrise over the lake was an unexpected treat! We checked in late last night after a wedding at Big Sky Barn.

Valet is $18, and check in was very easy! We quickly found our room and settled in for the evening. This room is so spacious. There is a sitting area, a entry way and a large bedroom.

The bed wasn't very comfortable and I could have used a heavier blanket. Platform style beds are hard for me to get out of but it's only one night. There are two TVs, a guide button would have been nice.

We could hear our neighbor snore through the walls, so we had to sleep with the TV blaring to drown out that noise.

The room service menu had so much to offer but watch out for the up charges! $4 fee, 23% administrative fee, and sales tax (as expected).

We would love to return here again some day, preferably in the summer to enjoy the large pool and the lake!
