Me and my family come to this restaurant, (La Puerta Azul) reasonably frequently. We love the Food, and if you come on Saturdays You'll have a chance to hear music. They are flexible to substitutions and replacements. Great atmosphere, But the Downside is the food is a little slow to come out, but is worth the wait!
Excellent place to go & they can add or subtract ingredients with their made to order cuisine, great service too! Recommended.
This place is Great!! The chef is a wonderful asset to this restaurant. He makes everything fresh -NOT frozen- all from scratch. You can taste the freshness with every bite. Simply Delicious. Everything you should expect from a quality cook. This includes the fresh Guacamole made to perfection before us by our waiter. Outstanding. This restaurant has everything you should come to expect (great service, experience, freshness, quality food) when selecting Mexican food as your next meal.
This place has gone to the dogs someone tell the owner the techno music must go. Long wait for food and it was warm at best . I always loved this place won't go anymore two poor experiences in a row. Go to Mole Mole on hooker ave Poughkeepsie much much better

Staff is friendly enough but the food consistently misses the mark. The chefs do a nice job with presentation. Unfortunately, most of the dishes desperately need flavor. My sense is management there is probably too comfortable with the way things are...never a good sign.
Every time I go there for a couple cocktails and dinner I always get good quality service in the food is fantastic I really enjoy come in here I think it's one of the best Mexican restaurants in this whole area keep up the good work
Pricey, salsa & chips good, burger impressive looking but tough meat, flavorful, burritos were nice

I just stopped in today for a happy hour margarita. It was perhaps the single worst maragrita I ever had. Not sure if its the cheap tequila they use or what but it had a dreadful taste. Also I actually was a chef there some years ago during the previous owners reign. I found out that they still heat up their enchiladas in the microwave. Yes you read correctly. The enchiladas are pre made and heated in the microwave. If anyone has any doubts go try one for yourself and ask to see how they heat up their enchiladas.
