La place Panini haarlem Review

Had a lovely breakfast for a very reasonable price!

Yesterday very well helped by an employee! Super sweet and super service !! This is also a nice location for eating out.

I was bothered by two controversial lawyers who argued rather noisily. Also entertaining, banana juice was wonderfully refreshing.

Good location. Highly variable quality. Staff is clearly there for salary, not service ...

This location is one of the nicest ones in terms of the building itself and the interior design.

The quality of the food is up to the LaPlace standards.

Unfortunately this cannot be said of the kitchen staff. Every time I have visited they were slow and there is a lack of professional management guidance.

Some of them try but they lack basic knowledge and have no clue how simple improvement in efficiency and logistics might be a major enhancement of customer experience.

Having a dustbin at the entrance full of garbage and stuff around it is unforgivable.

This location could triple their income under the right management.

Great place for a coffee and a sandwich. Good for a work appointment or also private.

This place is wonderful after a walk in the parks nearby. The food is not too great but the atmosphere is nice and the place is clean

Delicious sandwiches and the frozen yogurt is fantastic!

Unfortunately, quality has declined since the acquisitions.
Furthermore, breakfast is nice and affordable, but for lunch I find it quite pricey.

20 minutes waiting for a burger, little hygiene, cook (read random someone who tries to cook something from a checklist) touches everything with his hands except the soap. Was a mess and empty dishes everywhere.
Would have expected better from a restaurant from owner Jumbo.

Nobody walks to clean the tables, and if someone prepares sandwiches, put on gloves!

I've had a bad experience a number of times and this is not a good rating. I think more attention should be paid to educating the people to prepare the food. They are often well-intentioned young people who want to help with the best intentions, but you have to put in enough energy.

La Place is not a 5 star restaurant, the coffee, tea and the like along with a pastry is fine, I want to queue for the apple bulbs and I am always sorry if they are taken out of the range and I again 8 have to wait months ....

Don't let this review stop you, it could be easy ....

Super cozy! Perfectly Decorated, I could hang out there all day

Located on the edge of the Haarlemmerhout restaurant La Place is favorable for walkers. Due to the spacious car park in front of the door, it is also easily accessible for motorists.
The restaurant has a spacious terrace.

The assortment of the La Place self-service restaurant does not change too much with the years. Some of the guests will probably appreciate this.

Do not expect delights here. However, there is also little to criticize. A reasonably constant quality is served.

This place sucks: no personal (only two, one of them was suppose to be the cashier, but she wasn t because she was washing too). The coffee machine didn t worked, the cashier either, so after waiting and being ignored I said I would pay later. She came to our desk when we was eating and asking to pay in that moment, so I told her I will do it when I finished. When I went to pay she asked me what it was (she didn t remember. We were the last ones). When I asked her who was the manager she answer me she didn t spoke English . In the picture you can see the empty service aldought the restorant was in open hour.

Nice place. Unfortunately along a busy street. It can be pretty quiet in the morning.

Always a nice place to go to. Lots of space to sit, outside space for children to play, lots of choice in food. But yesterday service was terrible, we waited more than half an hour for pizzas.

La place float nice and friendly staff. Beautiful location. Especially delicious cakes and always tidy.

Nice quiet place for some food with nice surroundings

Well wheelchair accessible, even a disabled toilet with a small hall in front, within 1 meter 2 doors in a row, so that the access might not be for everyone. Good food. Outside a small playground for children. Unfortunately only 1 disabled parking space.

Emancipation: On the men's room there is a possibility to change your baby.

For breakfast and lunch I think la place is a must. A bit on the pricey side but nice and cozy. Unfortunately I have never had a good experience with dining at la place. Cooked / baked too long / short and therefore unpalatable. Plus at this la place is also the free parking and the beautiful location near the center and wood park.

Driving vision has been around for so long and now Laplace is in it. Nothing wrong with that. The only point of criticism is that spider webs may well be removed, because those are warmer and can be seen in the color for a long time.

Nice location, extensive kitchen but staff at the checkout was pretty grumpy.
According to the sign at the entrance, you can park here for an hour and a half for free, in practice you will also receive an exit card if you have stayed longer.

Many choices in terms of food. Sit comfortably. Some things really too expensive.

Good place for business meetings, coffee and lunch. Free WiFi but a lot of freelancers at work because there is even a 'work square'. Also after a round of Wood with the dog a place to make coffee. Parking is free but very busy

Always our choice for a dinner if we don't know where to go.

Been at la Place Dreefzicht in Haarlem around 13:00 to have lunch. For my surprise very little sandwiches I could find. The staff didn t even react properly to my question if the sandwich I wanted to have was about to be made: the answer was, we don t have it anymore even tho it was clear the lady behind the counter was busy preparing other.I try to keep my calm and move forward to get a la minute chicken. Again for my surprise ( or not) there was none !!! Basically except of pizza and few other salad options and burgers there was nothing to choose from... usually I m not a pretentious person as I work in horeca industry myself but what bothered me the most was the staff very passive and having little interest in the customer. And to add more, yesterday I was at this location for the first time and nobody came at the same sandwiches counter so I could ask about my favorite sandwich if it can be made or not. ( lack of personal or not, this should not affect the customers )

I wasn't a fan of La Place, but thought: oh let me try it again: Pulled chicken fries .... mehhhhhh ... it was completely burnt and was 1 piece of chicken, very fat! Claimed money back and food returned .. I am cured for years to come ..

Crockery cutlery glassware wet and dirty tray wet from the dishwasher see no improvements every week

Nice place to have a drink. The prices compared to the service is much too high! Pick it up yourself and clear it again!

All containers empty at half past six! Bad service. Not a place to go. Nightmare!

What a bad restaurant! Steak was not midium what was agreed and came tough from the baking tray after a long wait. Wine tasted like soapy water through the glasses that just came out of the dishwasher. Nice outside terrace and also good location in a nice building. There was also nobody who I could address on the above. So never again la Place Haarlem.

Neat place with a decent breakfast range. Rather calm and quiet early on.

Good food, but a disappointment that not everything is available. I wanted a vegetarian burger, but they didn't have it anymore. Fortunately, they did have pizza, which I could invest according to their wishes, although that is no longer officially an option.

Glad, they are open again and the weather is still good to sit outside on the terrace or sit inside at the window with a view of the lane. It is now completely corona proof, unfortunately that makes the distance between the tables very large. The men's toilet is also only allowed in one, once inside there is really enough space to keep more than 1.5 to 2 meters away.

Quiet, bright and warm environment. I recommend it for both coffee and food. It is self service with free Parking and free wifi.

Last Friday we had dinner at la place in the evening. I know la place well, sometimes a mess and disorganized (for example Groningen) unfriendly staff (Heerhugowaard where I was with a friend) but now I heard that in my hometown haarlem was a la place and I have been there. Due to experience at others, I did not assume the positive, but everything changed when I was at the sight.

Sweet staff, good service with a radiant smile and fun together but it didn't bother me. I like that and saw other visitors too. Employees in black were given clear instructions, were well-chased and the supervisor (which became clear after the cashier had called him) really treated the matter as if it belonged to him (positive way) will certainly be back soon!

Much improvement is needed. With a number of changes it must be a nice, cozy and tasty restaurant.
