Great alternative theatre space with a real sense of loving what they do

Seats were a bit uncomfortable but the staff was very nice and helpful

Perfect setting for a mystical theatre performance. My friend and I saw Adam Yees adaptation of Carmilla - absolutely stunning. A beautiful performance!

Great venue for small intimate shows. They've got a small bar at the front with reasonable prices. Be warned, only one toilet though.

A wonderful space for La Mama Poetica, which is a wonderful monthly spoken word event filled with some incredible poets.

Amazing venue with great shows. Very helpful front of house. Drinks available including free tea and coffee.

I saw Almost With You yesterday afternoon. It was really good. The theatre is a very intimate space and works really well. The play itself dealt with issues in a very realistic way. The actors were very good and I felt as if I was watching real life. A great experience I can recommend to anyone.

Went to a show here just after the fire, and were not informed of the facility being moved somewhere else. The new facility was under par. Dusty, very small and cramped, and left many people wondering what we just walked into. The show was entertaining, but I don't think I will be returning unfortunately. Quite a shame

Have loved going to see plays at La Mama theatre over the years. With the lack of funding to the arts in this country, La Mama is a very special place that enables people to practice their craft.
