Beautiful hotel. Amazing location. Walking distance from great little surf shops and restaurants. Finding a place to park near the beach can be a nightmare so being right on the beach was awesome. The grounds and rooms have a vintage look and feel, in a good way, but could be updated a bit. You can hear guests in the next room (kids, tv, etc.) But overall we enjoyed our stay.
We had dinner and enjoyed the view. The staff was slow but given the covid shortage now of waiters, I get it! We were here from Seattle to see my daughter. First trip in 18 months. Nice!! Great swordfish!!

Great location for La Jolla Shores and the local restaurants! Good pandemic protocols and adherence by guests. Comfortable room but no microwave. Good view from most rooms (either beach or ocean view... some see the inner courtyard)

The beauty of the place speaks for itself, my family and I spent an excellent weekend in San Diego having chosen this spectacular hotel, all the workers are very friendly, especially Jesse the waiter, I recommend the Californian burger, a delight.
Beautiful views coupled with a quiet atmosphere and great staff make for a pleasant dining experience while watching the sunset. If you're lucky, and paying attention, you'll see dolphins playing in the surf. Reservations recommended.
