The fairplex is where the Pomona fair is held. Its a great time for famiies to walk around eat and enjoy rides. There are a variety of vendors for shopping- random items which is great for those things that you never thought you needed and would add to your life. They have a great wine section and wine tasting.
Went to the Pomona fair plea to support my school and had a great experience nice and clean with cool air conditioning and lots of shade and good food
Everything is very good here, but pure scrutiny of the dough!
15 $ car parking.
$ 20 per person entrance (they also ask for loot for charity there)
Great territory !!!
Dinosaur pavilion 5 $ per person
All attractions (carousels, lunopark) are paid separately!
There are indoor rooms where children can play Lego and watch performances and all kinds of other board games.
There is a Zoo (small)
Went to a red bull motocross event. Had a blast. Plenty of seating
I attended the Los Angeles County Fair at Fairplex in September of 2019. It is a vast area with a number of attractions and buildings throughout. However, it is also relatively easy to navigate once you've made sense of the fairgrounds map. Food can be understandably pricey, but all in all, there is something there for everyone to participate in, whether you are a county native or you're just visiting.
I really don't have no friends and I want to hangout with fifth harmony and friends
The LA Fairplex has been a site of great fun for me over the course of 9 years. You don't really need to participate in anything there to have a good time. Since it has many rides and attractions during the late summer, I suggest you go. It's a relatively kid-friendly place, and everybody is welcome.
It was Super fun oh the food oh my God!! It was amazing they had everything and anything you would want to eat!!! Love it very much!!!
I use Google map to get to the fair plex sent me to the wrong place. Stopped and talked to one of the attendants they sent me to the wrong place. Talk to another at tendon and told them why don't they put signs that are clear that directs you will you can drop people off. Attendant didn't Care about it. So if you wanna come here just have a lot of patience with people cause you're gonna need it.
Went to the Animanga festival.
In building C.
Had lunch at pink's hot dogs.
Excellent!
Came through with the fam, great time. Come prepared to spend some money, 16oz icee with souvenir cup is $8. King taco 3 burritos + nachos $40 parking $15 or $25 for VIP - $12 for adult entry $8 for kids ages 6-12 - wristband for unlimited rides $50 - 100 tickets for $50 each game cost around 12-16 tickets each so it goes fast. Just come prepared especially if you have a family. Other than that a great time. Great event.
the county fair is fun, that's all about this place....
Very fun during the La County fair I recommend it for everyone who can make it there. They have a nice fireworks show during 4th of July watch it from my porch 2 minutes away
Love the animals and the food! The parking, not so much.
I was so upset especially for the price , it is NOT worth it , try a different event. The monsters barley came on outside to scare us and we couldn t see the screen to even get the concept of the event. I was so upset and we was only there 27 mins.
Went for the Chinese lantern festival, great family outing but way overpriced for the area they had availbe but my girls loved it
This is home to many great events like the Los Angeles County Fair, the NHRA, and other smaller cultural events. Parking staff is helpful and so are all the help desks. Come with money since there will be food you will want!
The drag races are always good fun bring your wallet though
On the Web page for the LA County Fair there is no information about the animal judging. The link to Contact does not work. Very disappointing.
Lantern festival is beautiful. Hint: get tickets on Goldstar or Groupon. Also, not much to choose from in way of food. The selection that is available is pricey, like a fair.
Wonderful upgrades, more picnic benches and more shade. Only complaint is that they need to return the FFA animals as the fair had in the past. City kids need to experience farm animals of as many types as possible! Bulls, cows, goats, pigs, piglets, so many were there in the 1970's through 2010, but now so few are left. Please bring them back! And extend the fair one more week until the end of September!
I was there for the LA county fair and to see the Styx show. The parking was easy(there are trams), the atmosphere was fun, and the venue was fantastic! The only tiny downer was the hired person to help people find their seats who was inconsistent with who they allowed to stand in the walking aisles. But that's hardly anything to dock points on! Great place to visit!
The drags a place to see car race down track
300 + miles an hour. As little as 4 sec.
Very conveniently located at Gate 1 at FairPlex
They have a lot of programs for people of all ages to be involved with and experience art. They host Palates and Palettes
Large two room suite with a very comfortable firm memory foam king size bed. Well maintained. Our room was near the elevators and the sound of the elevators was noticeable at times but not really annoying. Sensitive people should request rooms far from the elevators. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Death to dictators I say! Fancy, Fancy at the top has resigned
I missed the independent operators. You know, homemade pies, some unusual chicken recipe - instead big slick food booths run by large companies with no personality.
Plenty of interesting exhibits, lots of games of chance. All in all a pleasant outing.
Went with my family to the LA County Fair (09/16). It was our first time. We had loads of fun! Spent about 7 hrs at the fair. So many many things to see and do. We didn't even get to half of everything there is... reason for 4 stars, not 5 is for pricing. It is moderately expensive. Expect to pay for parking, admission, and carnival rides. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) spent almost $300 for just those 3 things. Not to mention food and overpriced water bottles ($4). You can buy a souvenir cup and get $3 refills throughout the fair (or you can just ask for free water in your cup. Just make sure it doesn't have any leftover soda because they don't rinse the cup!). Most importantly, don't forget the sunscreen!
Fairplex is the home of L.A. County Fair in city of Pomona. It is more than just county fair, since the fair only last like 5 weeks. The rest of the year, they held many smaller events. Usually only use couple of the exhibit hall.
Parking is range from $10-15 depend on the event, there's really no other way get around. The bus doesn't really go here and really force you to use their paid parking lot.
There's no street parking anyway in the area. This place is a bit out of dated, and could just some remodel. It does stay its true theme of County Fair in all year around.
Not many known this, this was one of the location that possible Disneyland might be build. But because of the weather and kinda too far from most city that pull the plan off the table.
Came here last week for the reptile show. Bought a few bugs.
It was very delightful to be here at this event. This place was big and easy to find just follow the signs and it will lead you there. There were a lot of people to come out ( minus the chills) with the family to see the awesome displaces of lights. There were so many different of a creative way of lights, from animals to plants, trees and so on. There were also cultural dances and music for you to enjoy. They also sell foods there if you are hungry. The parking is $12 but there plenty of parking spaces. This is a good way to bring the kids and have walks with your family. I would be back to see it again.
The Child Development Center is exceptional. Our son spent 3 years there and he loved it, and we loved it as well. After he was done there and he tested for 1st grade at his new school, the teacher was very impressed. He was more than prepared for First grade. The CDC has a rich program with fantastic staff. Call check it out for yourself and compare with other development centers in the area. I guarantee you you will choose this one.
Loved light displays. Crowd was chill. Chinese musicians were delightful playing a mix of traditional and modern . Cool stuff for kids and insta fan's.
Discover the Dinosaurs was great for the little ones
Super very good place with very good groups, good music !!
Great place to have fun with the family. Lots of things to do.
Less crowded than the OC fair. Good food and drinks as well.
Been here for a few events and its been good. It's a bit run down in some of the buildings, but good overall. The LA fair is usually here every year.
I Always Go To Fairplex When I Usually Go To The LA County Fair. I Saw An Art Exhibit For A Class Field Trip At Fairplex Back In March 2017. Here Are Some Photos Of The 2019 LA County Fair
Took 1.5 hrs to just get out of the parking lot during the la fair.
I loved the 2019 L.A. County Fair so much I went once with my friend, and once with my wife!
Although the LED lights and stained glass were lovely, THE CHINESE LANTERN FESTIVAL wasn't anything like I really would've expected to see at a "LANTERN" FESTIVAL. Also, tickets and parking were very overpriced.
Love Farm events . Wishing for more. Always have a great time.
They have plenty of parking, nevertheless I couldn't find anything I needed there
big fair
$50 dollars unlimited rides
from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
a lot of rides and food
tacos, Turkey leg 3
Pretty fun place to check out a festival or sporting event. I attended the Day of the Dead festival and the grounds were laid out well with both indoor and outdoor stages. Beers weren't too bad at about $8 but you had to stay within special beer garden areas to drink. Most notably, the traffic and car situation to get into this place is a mess. After you pay, stay to the right and try to get into a parking lot as quickly as possible before they wind you half a mile away from where you're trying to go. Parking is a mess here but it really is a great location to throw a show without neighbors complaining.
We walked alot around the grounds & building's looking at all the car's & Truck's took awesome photos, enjoyed through out day!!:-D
I went to L.A. County Fair for many years especially with my class.
Spent my youth going to the fair, always excited about seeing the displays, vendors, and art exhibits. Last time I went was 2002. Went back this year, and will never go again. Shocked by the number of food vendors and pay games that have taken over the place. The entire area next to the horse track used to be vehicle displays, independent vendors, and even campers and boats. It's all food and games now. I'll stick to the San Diego Fair from now on.
Nice walk through, different events happening through out the year! Kid friendly...nice experience!
Wonderland...especially for children. One of our best and most unused treasures in the County. Wish they would get the word out.
